With election season in full swing, along with the constant stream of unsettling news and world events, it’s easy to lose track of how these stressors affect our minds, bodies, and emotions. In the hustle of daily life, we often overlook how we’re truly feeling. When we ignore these emotions, they can build up and manifest physically—whether through a stiff neck, tight shoulders, or even painful joints. Unprocessed feelings can also spill into our relationships, causing irritability or anger that leads to unintentional outbursts toward loved ones.

By bringing awareness to your physical sensations and emotional experiences, you can engage with life more authentically and comfortably. To help you connect with what you’re feeling, we’re sharing two valuable resources. These tools will support your body, mind, and emotional well-being, helping you address feelings before they become overwhelming.

The first resource is muscle relaxation, which Charity demonstrates in the video in this post. The second is keeping a mood journal.

Keeping a mood journal is a powerful way to track and understand your emotions, especially during stressful times like election season. By consistently logging your feelings, you can enhance self-awareness, identify triggers for anxiety or sadness, and monitor your emotional growth. Starting a mood journal can help you stay in tune with your emotions and support your overall well-being.
