Looking forward to joining fellow faculty and leaders at the 2026 Driving Innovation in Wound Care Summit on April 10 in Charlotte, NC.

This full-day working summit brings together clinicians, researchers, industry leaders, and colleagues from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to move from discussion to action on the future of wound care.

I’m happy to share 'Advancing Chronic Wound Care With Near‑Infrared Spectroscopy Imaging: Clinical Applications, Measurement Parameters, and Insights Into Healing Dynamics.' This literature review by experts in the Wound Care Collaborative Community Tools Working Group was published in WOUNDS: The Official Journal of SAWC, HMP Global.

This review delineates near-infrared spectroscopy modalities, measurement parameters, and clinical applications for real-time microvascular assessment in wound management and decision-making.

If you are over 50 and have noticed decreased walking ability or have concerns about the sensation in your feet, please schedule yourself for a free screening at Marist. Doctor of Physical Therapy students will also provide education about these issues.
