AMAZON SELLS FAKE SUPPLEMENTS

The post below is from a colleague on a verified Naturopathic Doctors page.

This is a HUGE issue and has been for years: Amazon selling fake (counterfeit) supplements. Most of the better supplement companies are well aware of it, and some even employ people just for that purpose alone. They also microchip their bottles, so they can easily identify what's theirs, because the fakes are just that convincing. If the manufacturers have a hard time telling the difference, then consumers don't stand a chance.

I always have this discussion with my patients, to only buy from Fullscript (where I prescribe) and not from other sites. Fullscript is a fully validated dispensary which sources only directly from legitimate supplement manufacturers. This could even possibly happen in stores, depending on where they get their stock from.

Please take extreme care with where you get your supplements. Your life and your child's life depend on it.
