Job Title: Full-Day Camp Assistant

Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated, energetic, and compassionate Full-Day Camp Assistant to join our team for the summer camp season! In this role, you will work closely with our therapists to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment for our campers. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist camp leaders and therapists in structured activities and sensory play.
- Provide direct supervision and positive behavior support to campers throughout the day.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe camp environment.
- Provide individual attention and accommodation to campers as needed to ensure full participation and inclusion.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience working with children with disabilities or neurodivergent youth (e.g., autism, speech/language delays, sensory processing disorders) is required.
- Background Check: Must possess or be able to pass a current North Carolina (NC) criminal background check prior to the start date.
- Attributes: High energy, patience, excellent communication skills, and a strong collaborative mindset.
- Availability: Ability to work full-day camp hours for the duration of the summer session.
