We're excited to welcome Alaina Geiss, PA-C, to Pinnacle Dermatology in Charlotte and Monroe! 🎊

Alaina is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates. She is passionate about patient education and promoting lifelong skin health.

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Alaina earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Huntington University in Indiana. Prior to beginning her physician assistant training, she worked as a medical assistant in dermatology and regenerative medicine. She later relocated to North Carolina to attend Methodist University, where she earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Early in her career, Alaina gained valuable clinical experience working in emergency medicine, further strengthening her ability to provide comprehensive and compassionate patient care. She then transitioned to dermatology and subsequently completed the Diplomate Fellowship program through the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates, demonstrating her advanced training and commitment to excellence in the field.

Alaina is dedicated to building meaningful relationships with her patients and providing personalized, thorough care for a wide range of skin conditions. She strives to help patients feel confident, informed, and supported throughout their treatment journey and remains committed to staying current with the latest advancements in dermatologic care through ongoing education and professional development.

Outside of work, Alaina enjoys traveling with her fiancé, spending time with family and friends, attending concerts, playing with their dog, and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes. Online scheduling will be availble soon!
