Today, October 15th, we recognize Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day. 🩷🤍🩵

For parents who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss, grief does not end with the passing of time. Their babies forever remain an important part of their lives, their families, and their stories.

At KinderMourn, we recognize the importance of creating space for these stories to be shared, for every child to be remembered, and for grieving parents to find connection and support.

Today and every day, we remember the babies who are deeply loved and missed, and the parents who carry their memory forward. 🦋

The holidays can bring heavy emotions for parents grieving the loss of a child. Traditions, gatherings, and expectations may feel different, and finding your way through the season can take support. 🫶🏼

KinderMourn’s Surviving the Holidays workshops offer a space to connect with other grieving parents, explore practical coping strategies, and hear from parents who have navigated this season before.

✨Empty Arms: For parents who have experienced pregnancy or neonatal loss — Tuesday, November 3, 6:30–8 p.m. ✨Grieving Parents: For parents grieving children of all ages — Wednesday, November 4, 6:30–8 p.m.

Join us in person at the KinderMourn house or online via Zoom. These free workshops are open to grieving parents, whether or not you are a current KinderMourn client.

RSVP by Thursday, October 29, using the QR code or by clicking the link in our bio. In-person space is limited; virtual participation will remain available once those spots are filled.

You do not have to navigate the holidays alone. 💙

A quick scheduling update for our Open Arms community! 💜

Our October gathering will take place one week later than usual, on Thursday, October 22, from 6:30–7:30 PM.

This change is for October only. We’ll return to our regular third Thursday schedule in November.

A big hello from Ronan! 🐾💙

Our future therapy dog is still hard at work in training, learning all the skills he’ll need to one day support children, teens, adults, and parents at KinderMourn. We’re so excited to share a few photos of what he’s been up to!

There is still a lot of training ahead before Ronan is ready to officially join us at the KinderMourn house, and we need our community’s help to get him there. Donations to Ronan’s journey help support the training and resources needed to prepare him for this very special role.

And just like that, our last camp healing hearts is officially in the books! 💙

Another camp where so many memories were made, friendships were formed, stories were shared, and moments of connection reminded us just how important it is to have a safe space to grieve, heal, and simply be together.

As we wrap up this year’s camps, we are grateful to Jubilee Farms and every volunteer, caregiver, and camper who joined us this year. Each camp offered a space where children and teens could feel understood, supported, and reminded that they aren’t alone in their grief.

Camp may be over, but the memories, and hope will stay with us long after the last day. ✨ Until next year! 🫶

KinderMourn was honored to be a part of ’ 22nd Annual Butterfly Release, a time for parents to gather together and remember their beloved children. 🦋

Our butterfly garden offered bereaved parents a place to add their child’s name, honoring each child’s memory and the love that remains with them always.

Held each October during Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, this event honors babies gone too soon and brings parents together in remembrance and support. Your child will always be remembered.💜
