Carolina Center for Recovery and Charlotte Detox is a family-owned, fully accredited dual-diagnosis center in Charlotte, NC, offering a full continuum of care for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. We are dedicated to supporting individuals and families on their journey to lasting recovery from substance use and mental health disorders. Our programs meet people wherever they are, offering a full continuum of care, including:
- Medically Supervised Detox
- Residential Treatment
- PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program)
- IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program)
- Family Program
- Alumni Program

Our experienced team of clinicians and staff provide individualized treatment plans that address the physical, emotional, and behavioral aspects of recovery. We focus on building a strong foundation for long-term success through therapy, life skills development, relapse prevention, and a supportive community environment. We believe recovery is possible for everyone and we’re committed to guiding our clients every step of the way.

Growing our knowledge is an important part of what we do.

Last week, we welcomed Kate Walters Longshaw from The Journey, LLC back onsite for another staff training, this time focused on Trauma-Informed Care in SUD Treatment.

Trauma-informed care is such an important part of supporting individuals in recovery. Understanding how trauma can impact a person’s experiences and approach to treatment helps us meet people where they are and provide the care they deserve.

We’re so grateful to Kate for continuing to share her expertise with our team.
