The Blanchard Institute The Healing Starts Here. Treatment & Support Resources for Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders

The Blanchard Institute cultivates a safe, comfortable environment for patients and their families to be connected to their treatment provider. As healthcare professionals, it is our obligation to assume a leading role in our clients’ recovery and combat the disease of addiction at its root. Our clients’ success stems from the highly individualized mental health and addiction treatment programs in Charlotte, North Carolina with comprehensive family involvement.

Recovery impacts more than the individual—it affects the entire family. That's why our next Family Systems Workshop on August 7th & 8th is designed to help families heal together.

Over two days, participants gain a deeper understanding of addiction, recognize the roles and patterns that can keep families stuck, and learn practical strategies to support lasting recovery in healthier ways.

This isn't traditional family therapy. The focus is on family realignment—helping each family member build awareness, establish healthier boundaries, and take ownership of their own healing while remaining a supportive part of the recovery journey.

Our workshop is FREE, open to the community, offered both in person and virtually, with professional CEUs up to 8 hours available.

📅 WHEN: Friday, August 7th from 5:30pm-8:30pm + Saturday, August 8th from 9:00am-5:00pm
📍 WHERE: Virtual ONLY on Friday, and in person or virtually at our South Charlotte or Lake Norman locations on Saturday.

July is BIPOC Mental Health Month, and we’re sharing some organizations, resources, and communities that are working to make mental health care more accessible and culturally responsive for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities.

Mental health is shaped by so much more than what happens internally. Our experiences, our communities, the support available to us, and the way we’re seen and understood all play a role in our overall well-being.

For many people in BIPOC communities, finding resources that acknowledge cultural experiences and unique challenges can make a meaningful difference in the journey toward healing.

We hope these resources provide support, connection, and a reminder that no one has to navigate mental health challenges alone.
