🩺❤️ How CKM Conditions Are Connected ❤️🩺

Your cardiovascular, kidney, and metabolic (CKM) systems are closely connected, which means a health concern affecting one system can often impact the others. Understanding these connections can help you take proactive steps toward better long-term health.

Common examples include:
❤️ Elevated blood pressure placing extra strain on the heart while reducing kidney function
💙 Blood sugar imbalances damaging blood vessels and affecting vital organ performance
💚 Reduced kidney function disrupting fluid balance and increasing the heart's workload
🧡 Excess body weight adding stress to both metabolic and cardiovascular processes
💜 High cholesterol affecting healthy blood flow and circulation

Because these conditions often develop gradually, routine checkups, preventive screenings, and early intervention play an important role in protecting your overall health.

At Amity Medical Group, we're committed to helping you understand your CKM health and providing personalized care to support your heart, kidneys, and metabolic wellness every step of the way.

❤️🩺 Understanding the CKM System 🩺❤️

The cardiovascular, kidney, and metabolic (CKM) systems work together to keep your body healthy. Your cardiovascular system circulates blood and delivers oxygen and nutrients, your kidneys filter waste and help regulate fluid balance and blood pressure, and your metabolic system manages how your body processes and stores sugar and fats for energy.

When one part of the CKM system isn't functioning properly, it can affect the others. For example, high blood pressure can damage blood vessels in the heart and kidneys, while uncontrolled blood sugar can increase strain on blood vessels and reduce kidney function over time.

At Amity Medical Group, we believe that understanding how these systems work together is the first step toward preventing chronic disease and maintaining better overall health.
