Challenge the Body. Empower the Mind. Honor Those Who Serve.

Join Mentally Shredded Foundation for our inaugural Veterans Day Run & RX in Alexandria, VA!

This isn’t your traditional 3-mile run.

We’re bringing together veterans, military families, and our community for a unique experience combining movement, mental wellness, and meaningful connection.

🏃🏽 Here’s what to expect:

Throughout our 3-mile route, participants will experience:

💪 An RX workout integrating physical movement and mental wellness alongside a mental health professional.

💬 Opportunities for reflection, gratitude, and community connection.

🇺🇸 A moment of silence honoring those who have served.

🎟️ Refreshments, raffles, and community engagement following the run!

🕊️ This week, we lost our biggest supporter, Christine Weedon, our founder’s grandmother and namesake.

And when we say supporter, we mean someone who truly showed up.

She was there for the very first Mentally Shredded RX in Charlotte, NC. She worked the Mentally Shredded table at HYROX Dallas in 2023. And when we brought Mentally Shredded to our founder’s hometown of San Angelo, TX in 2025, she was there helping make the event a success.

That was who she was.

She showed up.

For her family. For her community. For her church. And for the people she loved.

She saw the best in people, even when others couldn’t. She was a successful entrepreneur, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and a pillar in the lives of so many.

Mentally Shredded was born in part from our founder’s own journey through anxiety and depression, which at the time were compounded by grief and loss after the passing of his grandfather, Lt. Col. Charles Weedon, in 2021. He was the leader of their family, and what began as a way to honor him and find healing grew into something Grandma continued to stand behind every step of the way.

Now, their legacy is forever ingrained into the DNA of Mentally Shredded.

Heart.

Everything we do flows from it.

Guard it. Protect it. And use it to serve others with love.

As Mentally Shredded continues to grow, so will the legacy they helped build into who we are.
