META, CAN A HUMAN PLEASE HELP ME GET OUT OF THIS LOOP?
Meta Meta for Business Meta Business Support Instagram Instagram for Business — I have now spent considerable time trying to fix what appears to be a glitch in Meta’s own automated system.
Here’s what happened:
An old Instagram business account I rarely used asked me to verify my age. I completed the verification successfully, Meta accepted it, and my account was restored.
About 30 minutes later, I voluntarily deleted THAT account because I no longer needed it.
Then something bizarre happened.
Other Instagram accounts connected to me were suddenly suspended/locked — accounts I never asked Meta to delete.
I’ve now been through Meta support trying to fix this. I’ve even been told that the age-verification/deletion sequence may have triggered an automated security or account-sync issue and that an automated restriction from August 25 still needs to be reviewed.
Here’s the catch:
Meta tells me I need to appeal.
Meta’s system prevents me from accessing the accounts to appeal.
The appeal pages I’ve been given don’t work.
And I’m sent back to the same process again.
In other words, the system that appears to have made the mistake is also preventing me from accessing the process for correcting the mistake.
I’m not asking Meta to bypass its security procedures. I’m happy to verify my identity, ownership of the accounts, or anything else necessary.
I just need an actual human at Meta who has the ability to look at what happened and correct it.
The affected accounts include:

I’ve got the screenshots, support history, error messages, and documentation. I just need someone who can look at them.

Gotta love good ol' Waxhaw! It truly is a little gem. ❤️
..And while it might be one of my favorites, it's certainly not the only one.
