15-13-11-9-7-5
Power Cleans (165/115)
+ 10 Toes-to-Bar after every round
Total work: 60 power cleans + 60 toes-to-bar.
🎯 STIMULUS
Heavy-ish barbell cycling under increasing grip and midline fatigue. The descending reps should let you pick up speed as the workout progresses, but the toes-to-bar will make hanging onto the barbell increasingly uncomfortable.
The goal is controlled aggression—a weight you respect, but one you can continue moving without getting stuck staring at the bar.
🏋️ POWER CLEANS
Choose a load that allows you to complete the opening 15 reps in roughly 2–3 sets or fast singles. As fatigue builds, singles are absolutely fair game—just keep them quick.
Think: drop → breathe → hands back on the bar.
Avoid a load where failed reps become likely. With a 10-minute cap, long rests get expensive fast.
🔥 TOES-TO-BAR
You have 10 after every round of cleans. That’s 60 total, so don’t burn out your grip in the first few sets.
If 10 unbroken isn’t sustainable, break them intentionally from the start: 6/4 or 5/5 with short rest.
⚙️ SCALING
Power cleans: Reduce the load so you can maintain consistent reps or quick singles throughout.
TTB options:
Knees-to-chest → hanging knee raises → V-ups/sit-ups.
Pick a variation that lets you finish each set of 10 in roughly 30–40 seconds.
🧠STRATEGY
The trap is attacking the 15 and 13 like they’re the workout. They aren’t.
Stay composed through the first three rounds, protect your grip, and turn up the pace at 9-7-5. The final rounds are where you empty the tank.
Heavy bar. Tired grip. Short clock. Get uncomfortable.
