Before the Fourth of July weekend begins, take a moment to think about how to celebrate safely—especially if fireworks, swimming and grilling are in your plans.

🎆 Handle fireworks responsibly—follow local laws, keep a safe distance from crowds, have a water source nearby and keep them out of the reach of children.

🏖️ Practice constant supervision at the beach and pool—children and even adults should never swim alone.

🌭 Cookout with care—never leave a hot grill or firepit unattended and keep grills away from dry grass and anything flammable.

☀️ Protect yourself from the heat—drink plenty of water and take breaks in the shade or indoors.

Most importantly, look out for one another and enjoy a safe holiday weekend.
