🚁 The helicopter will be on site!
🚑 Critical care assets will be available to explore!

🍳 Breakfast, lunch & snacks will be provided!

This is a great opportunity to get an up-close look at the resources and teams involved in caring for critically ill and injured patients.

Today, we proudly celebrate the retirement of our Lead Pilot, Don R., and honor an extraordinary career dedicated to serving others.

Before joining Pegasus five years ago, Don honorably served our country for 30 years as a US Army pilot. Bringing decades of experience and calm leadership to our program, he quickly became a trusted mentor, respected colleague, and an invaluable member of the Pegasus team.

During his time at Pegasus, Don safely completed 450 patient transport flights. Through skill, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to safety, Don helped ensure patients received the rapid transport and specialized care they needed, making a meaningful difference for countless patients, families, and communities.

Whether mentoring fellow pilots, supporting flight crews, or demonstrating excellence on every mission, Don leaves behind a legacy of service, compassion, and professionalism that will continue to inspire our team for years to come.

We are profoundly grateful for his more than four decades of dedicated service—first to our nation and then to the communities we are privileged to serve throughout Virginia.
Please join us in thanking Don for an exceptional career. We wish you nothing but blue skies ahead in your well-deserved retirement.
