Twenty years. ....❤️

It's hard to believe it's been 20 years since we opened our doors with one simple goal—to provide affordable, quality healthcare to our community. What started as a mission to serve the community with low-cost, high-quality healthcare 20 years ago has grown into something truly incredible today—and it's all because of YOU!

We've celebrated happy moments with so many of you, walked alongside families through difficult ones, watched kids grow up, and now we're caring for the next generation. That's something we'll never take for granted. For TWO whole decades, we've had the privilege of caring for our community, building lasting relationships, and helping thousands of patients improve their health and wellness.

To every patient who has trusted us, referred a friend, shared one of our posts, or simply walked through our doors...thank you. You've allowed us to do what we love for the last 20 years.

To celebrate, we're having one of the biggest sales we've ever offered! 🎉
Whether you're a longtime patient or you've been thinking about coming in, we'd love to celebrate with you.

Thank you for supporting a locally owned small business for the last two decades. We truly couldn't have done it without you. Here's to the next 20 years! ❤️

📞 Call us today to schedule your appointment and take advantage of our anniversary specials before they're gone! As always, you must mention the ad in order to receive special pricing. Make sure to tell your friends and family!

I had a patient this morning who was unsure of HRT. When I asked if she was interested in replacing lost hormones she simply said “if I
thought they would help with overall health.” I’ll admit, this caught me off guard. Most women , and even men, come to me with some idea of maybe getting some information on hormone replacement. That conversation prompted this post….Today let’s just center the heart. We can talk about brain and bone health at a later date……

Women who initiate HRT early enjoy as much as a 50% decrease in cardiovascular disease risk (our number one killer), 35% decrease in Alzheimer's Disease, and 60% decrease in bone fractures, and LOWER ALL CAUSE MORTALITY.

Ladies and gentlemen, there is *no drug* or other intervention that does this. Not a statin. Not a diet. Not more exercise. Not a supplement stack. No other treatment or intervention replicates this benefit.

And remember, doing nothing IS AN INTERVENTION (which carries its own set of risks and consequences). I AM an advocate for Hey RT in the right setting.

❤️ Kindness Challenge ❤️

Over the past few days, I’ve been feeling a little under the weather. As someone who spends most of my days caring for others, it reminded me how meaningful it is when someone takes the time to care for you.

A sweet friend surprised me by bringing me medicine—even though they knew I had access to it. It wasn’t about the medicine itself; it was the thoughtfulness behind it. Then my daughter cooked me a wonderful homemade dinner, and it was exactly what I needed.

Those simple acts of kindness meant more than they’ll probably ever know.

It reminded me that kindness isn’t measured by the size of the gift or gesture. It’s measured by the love, thoughtfulness, and time behind it.

So today, I want to challenge each of you to perform one random act of kindness. It doesn’t have to cost a penny.

Here are a few FREE ideas:
❤️ Give someone a genuine compliment.
🙏 Pray for someone.
📱 Send an encouraging text or make a phone call.
🚪 Hold the door open.
😊 Smile at a stranger.
💌 Write a thank-you note.
🤝 Offer to help someone with a task.
🌸 Leave an uplifting note where someone will find it, like the library or even on the bulletin board at Dalton State.
👂 Truly listen to someone who needs to talk.
💬 Tell someone how much they mean to you.
Leave a review for your favorite restaurant or even a doctor's office :))

If you do have the money, pay for a coffee, take someone a meal, or drop doughnuts off by the police department or fire station. You can even make a donation to animal rescue shelters or send a bag of dog or cat food through Amazon (I know we are all on it daily :) Consider dropping off items at a battered women's shelter. Any little thing truly makes a difference and can add up when we all participate.

Here’s my challenge: After you’ve completed your random act of kindness, come back to this post and share it in the comments! (If you’d rather keep the recipient anonymous, feel free to do so.) Let’s fill this comment section with ideas that inspire others to spread kindness too. Share this with your friends! Let's get everyone involved!

After speaking to someone today that I love dearly and talk to every day, I found out one of her best friends has stage 4 cancer. Y'all, I had no idea! You never really know what someone is carrying or how one small gesture could completely change their day. Life can be so tough! If we can make something easier for someone, or lighten their load, we absolutely should!

Thank you to those who have shown me kindness this week. I won’t forget it. My hope is that this challenge creates a ripple effect that reaches far beyond today.

Let’s make kindness contagious. ❤️

VITAMINS PEOPLE MISUNDERSTAND THE MOST

1. Vitamin D isn’t just for your bones - it’s also essential for your immune system, muscles, and mood.
2. Vitamin C isn’t just for when you’re sick - it also supports collagen production, healthy skin, and iron absorption.
3. Vitamin B12 isn’t just about energy - it also helps support your brain, nerves, and red blood cells.
4. Vitamin K2 isn’t the same as vitamin K1 - it helps direct calcium to your bones and away from your arteries.
5. Vitamin A isn’t just for vision - it also supports immune function and healthy skin.
6. Vitamin E isn’t just an antioxidant - it also helps protect your cells and supports immune health.
7. Vitamin B6 isn’t just another B vitamin - it helps produce neurotransmitters that support mood and brain function.
8. Folate (Vitamin B9) isn’t only important during pregnancy - it also supports healthy cell growth and red blood cell production.
9. Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) isn’t talked about enough - it helps convert food into energy and supports your nervous system.
10. Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) isn’t just for metabolism - it also supports healthy skin, eyes, and cellular energy production.
11. Vitamin B3 (Niacin) isn’t only linked to cholesterol - it also helps your body turn food into usable energy.
12. Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid) isn’t just another nutrient - it helps produce hormones and supports energy metabolism.
13. Biotin (Vitamin B7) isn’t just for hair - it also supports healthy skin, nails, and energy metabolism.
14. Vitamin K1 isn’t the same as K2 - it’s primarily important for healthy blood clotting and also contributes to bone health.
15. Vitamin D works best with other nutrients - it relies on magnesium and vitamin K2 to support many of its functions.

📢 Exciting News! We Are Now In-Network with Medicare! 🎉

C-Worth Family Walk-In Clinic is happy to announce that we are now accepting Medicare patients!

To ensure we can provide the highest quality care and determine if our practice is the right fit for your healthcare needs, medical records from your current or previous primary care provider must be received and reviewed before we can schedule your first appointment and establish care. (This does not apply to acute illness/sick visits. Walk-ins ALWAYS welcome)

This process helps us:
✅ Review your medical history
✅ Ensure continuity of care
✅ Verify we can meet your healthcare needs
✅ Make your first visit more productive

If you are interested in becoming a patient, please contact our office for instructions on how to have your records sent to us.

📞 Call us today to learn more and begin the process(706)517-0656

We look forward to serving our Medicare community! ❤️

Please note: Submission of records does not guarantee acceptance into the practice. Records will be reviewed prior to establishing care.

Tip Tuesday- Allergy Edition 🌿🤧

If your allergies have been awful lately, here is a simple tip that actually helps more than people realize:

One simple thing that can REALLY help:
🚿 Shower and wash your hair before bed.

Pollen sticks to:

hair
skin
clothes
pillowcases

So even after you come inside, you may still be exposed to allergens all night long while you sleep.

Bonus tips:
✔ Change pillowcases often
✔ Keep windows closed on high pollen days
✔ Use a saline nasal spray after being outdoors
✔ Replace air filters regularly

Sometimes small habits make a big difference during allergy season. 💚

💙 June is Men’s Health Month 💙

Are you a man who is good at putting everyone else first — work, family, responsibilities — while ignoring their own health until something becomes a problem? This month is your reminder that prevention matters!

At C-Worth Family Walk-In Clinic, we’re encouraging the men in our community to take charge of their health NOW instead of waiting until later.

✅ Blood pressure checks
✅ Cholesterol & diabetes screening
✅ Testosterone & hormone evaluation
✅ Weight management support
✅ Fatigue, low energy & sleep concerns
✅ Heart health & preventive care
✅ Annual wellness visits

Feeling tired all the time, gaining weight, losing muscle, struggling with motivation, or just “not feeling like yourself” isn’t something you have to ignore.

Strong men take care of themselves, too. 💪

📍Schedule your check-up this June (the year is half over already) and invest in your health, your family, and your future.
