Wearing hearing protection, like high fidelity earplugs, helps reduce harmful sound levels while still allowing your to enjoy music clearly and safely.

Don't forget to wear earplugs with a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 25-30 dB to protect your hearing when using power tools.

For safety, consider electronic earmuffs that reduce noise but allow conversation.

On Memorial Day, we honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. We also think of those who are mourning the loss of their loved ones on this day.

We will be closed Monday, May 25.

Signal Centers’ operations and programs, including the Hart Gallery and The Speech & Hearing Center, will be closed in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 25. Services will resume Tuesday, May 26.

As we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country, we extend our gratitude to all who have served and continue to serve. Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

Pool days are back! Keep your ears dry after swimming to help prevent swimmer's ear. Tilt your head, gently tug your earlobe and dry with a towel or cool hairdryer, but remember to skip the cotton swabs!

Earplugs and swim caps can be helpful too. Keep your ears safe this summer!
