The Happy Family Coach

The Happy Family Coach Podcast and services for families seeking generational healing. Do you know how parents are overwhelmed with the responsibilities of raising children?

Offering biblical counseling and faith-based coaching to break unhealthy patterns, improve relationships, and grow emotionally and spiritually. I hear from my clients all the time how frustrated they are with the meltdowns, talking back, helpless baby, sibling rivalry that takes place at home. Parents come in with feelings of guilt of being a "bad parent" - as if there is such a thing! I'm Daniel

le Alvarez Greer, AKA 'The Happy Family Coach'. I empower my clients to create clear boundaries so that they can enjoy a loving, harmonious and peaceful home life. I'm a mother, mentor, family coach and owner of The Happy Kid Toolkit™. The Happy Kid Toolkit™ treats unhappiness by teaching individuals how to take responsibility for their own happiness. I use The Happy Kid Toolkit™ to demonstrate how it is that we cause our own disharmony by believing the thoughts we think. My clients will have the opportunity to see how their own unhappy family and relationship dynamics play out, and why. Parents, children, professionals and individuals will leave each one-on-one coaching session with a set of skills/tools to use towards obtaining higher levels of happiness and satisfaction in all they experience in their daily lives and personal relationships. "As an engaging coach, speaker and teacher, Danielle never fails to entertain, provide laughter, and create an enjoyable learning environment. She not only speaks from the heart , she truly does “walk her talk” in how she lives her own personal and professional life, utilizing The Reality Formula™ and Happy Kid Toolkit™ in her own home with her two young children; Sawyer (13), and Reese (9)." ~ Lynne Forrest

Every time I watch this testimony, I’m reminded why I continue hosting these retreats.

Not because they’re beautiful places.

Not because women get a few days away.

But because of what happens when we intentionally create space for God to work.

One thing I’ve noticed in counseling women over the years is that most aren’t lacking information.

They’re lacking space.

Space to slow down.

Space to process.

Space to grieve.

Space to hear God’s voice without all the noise competing for their attention.

That’s really the heart behind Renew & Restore.

Creating space for women to step away from the demands of everyday life and make room for healing, renewal, clarity, connection, and deeper intimacy with the Lord.

This beautiful testimony comes from one of the women Spencer Keaton who attended our February retreat, and her words mean more than anything I could say myself.

If you’ve been feeling weary, overwhelmed, spiritually dry, or simply longing for uninterrupted time with God, I invite you to prayerfully consider joining us this July.

I keep coming back to the same thought:

When was the last time you had nowhere to be and nothing to prove?

No one needing something from you.
No schedule to manage.
No pressure to perform.

Just space.

Space to breathe.
Space to pray.
Space to think.
Space to listen.

As women, we often convince ourselves we’ll slow down later.

After this season.
After this project.
After this crisis.
After the kids get older.
After things settle down.

But life rarely settles down on its own.

Sometimes we have to intentionally step away and make room for what matters most.

That’s what Renew & Restore is all about.

Not escaping life.

Returning to it renewed.

Some of you are carrying grief that feels too heavy…
patterns that feel too ingrained…
and stories that feel too broken.

But Jeremiah 31 reminds us of something powerful:

God is not done with you.

He meets us in our grief…
calls us out of old patterns…
and begins rewriting what we believe—deep in our hearts.

This episode is a gentle but powerful invitation into healing, responsibility, and real transformation through Christ.

For the past few months, I’ve been quietly praying, planning, and preparing for something that is very close to my heart.

This July, we’ll gather in the breathtaking beauty of Joshua Tree, California for my first Renew & Restore Women’s Healing Retreat on the West Coast.

As women, it’s so easy to spend our lives caring for everyone else while neglecting our own hearts.

We stay busy.
We stay productive.
We keep pushing forward.

But sometimes God invites us to step away from the noise so He can restore what has become weary.

This retreat is designed to be a sacred space for rest, reflection, healing, connection, worship, and intentional time with the Lord.

If you’ve been feeling spiritually dry, emotionally exhausted, stuck in survival mode, or simply longing for deeper intimacy with God, I invite you to prayerfully consider joining us.

This is an intentionally intimate retreat experience, and only a handful of spots remain available.

You’re not just reacting to your spouse…
You’re reacting from something deeper.
From beliefs you learned as a child—
about love, safety, worth, and connection.

And those beliefs?
They don’t stay in childhood.
They quietly shape your marriage.

In Episode 112, we’re uncovering the lies that still run your reactions—and how to begin renewing your mind with truth.

“I said I’m sorry…”
…but nothing actually changed.

Some of the deepest relationship wounds don’t come from the absence of apology…

They come from repeated patterns that never truly transform.

And after a while, you start questioning yourself:
“Why does this still hurt?”
“Why can’t I move on?”
“Am I expecting too much?”

But what if your heart is recognizing something important?

In Episode 111, we’re talking about the difference between apology and true repentance—and why real healing requires more than words.

This conversation is honest, practical, biblical, and deeply needed.

Some of the deepest wounds in relationships don’t come from the original hurt…

They come from hearing “I’m sorry” over and over again… while nothing actually changes.

And if you’ve ever felt confused by that tension—like your heart wants to move forward, but something still feels unresolved—you are not wrong.

In this week’s episode of The Happy Family Coach Podcast, we’re talking about:
🤍 The difference between apology and repentance
🤍 Why repeated patterns damage trust
🤍 How the Unhappy Kid Triangle shows up in conflict
🤍 What real, biblical transformation actually looks like

This conversation is honest, practical, deeply hopeful, and one I believe so many families need right now.
