Title: Experienced RBT — Variety of Clients, Real Growth Path, Full-Rate Admin Pay

Autism Behavior Services (ABS) is looking for an experienced Registered Behavior Technician to join our Chattanooga clinic team.

WHY EXPERIENCED RBTs STAY WITH US

✅ Work with a variety of clients — you won't be stuck with one client all day or half-day
✅ Paid your full hourly rate for admin/non-session time — no reduced "admin rate"
✅ Free BCBA supervision hours if you're working toward your BCBA or BCaBA certification
✅ Pay increase at [certification/tenure milestone — insert amount]
✅ Health, dental & vision insurance
✅ Paid time off + paid holidays
✅ Clinic-based — consistent schedule, no driving between homes or schools
✅ BCBA-owned and locally operated since 2008 — no private equity, no corporate turnover

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children on the autism spectrum in our clinic, implementing behavior support plans under the guidance of your supervising BCBA. Collect data, track progress, and work as part of a small, consistent clinical team.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Active RBT certification (required)
• At least 3 months of hands-on RBT experience
• Reliable attendance — this is a same-time, same-place-every
day role
• Comfortable working with challenging behaviors
• Strong communication with your supervising BCBA and team

WHO WE ARE
Autism Behavior Services has been part of the Chattanooga community since 2008. We're small, BCBA-owned, and built around long-term staff and long-term client relationships — not a franchise model.

This is where the magic happens. 🌿 A little peek inside ABS — 18 years of sessions, milestones, and memories in these walls. We love what we do, and we love the families who trust us to do it.

Presuming competence is one of the most important things we do at ABS — and one of the least talked about.

It means we start every interaction with a child from the belief that they are capable. Capable of learning. Capable of communicating. Capable of growth — even when they haven't yet shown us how.

It sounds simple. But it changes everything.

When we presume competence, we stop asking "what can't this child do?" and start asking "what does this child need to show us what they can do?"

It changes how we design programs. How we talk to kids. How we talk about kids. How we respond when progress is slow. How we interpret behavior.

A child who isn't yet speaking is not a child with nothing to say. A child who isn't yet complying is not a child who doesn't understand. A child who is struggling is not a child who is incapable.

Presuming competence is not blind optimism. It's a clinical and ethical commitment — one we take seriously at ABS every single day. 🌿

Families come to ABS for a lot of reasons. Here are the five we hear most. 💛

⭐ 18+ Years Serving Chattanooga
We've been here. And we're not going anywhere. ABS has been serving families in the Chattanooga area for over 18 years — making us one of the most experienced ABA providers in the region. We know this community because we are part of it.
⭐ BCBA-Owned & Clinically Led
Your child's care is led by the people who know it best. ABS is owned and directed by a BCBA-D with a PhD. Clinical decisions are made by clinicians — not administrators, not insurance companies, not corporate investors.
⭐ Neurodiversity-Affirming
We don't try to make your child less autistic. We believe autism is a natural part of human diversity. Our therapy supports your child in communicating, connecting, and thriving — on their own terms. Always.
⭐ Assent-Based Care
Your child has a voice in their own therapy. We take assent seriously. If your child is not willing — we stop, we adjust, we listen. Participation should never be forced. Dignity is non-negotiable here.
⭐ Family-Centered
You're not a bystander. You're the team. We work alongside families, not around them. You know your child better than anyone — our job is to bring you into the process, not hand you a report at the end of it.

📍 Serving Chattanooga and surrounding areas for 18+ years. We'd love to connect — message us or visit the link in our bio. 💛
