Do you know how to prevent skin cancer this summer?

At LifeSpring, we are educating our patients on habits to prevent skin cancer. It begins once you walk into the clinic! Our bulletin board reminds everyone on how to have a safe summer.

Did you know:
- lighter eyes are more likely to experience damage from UV rays
- skin is the largest organ of the body
- melanoma is the deadliest of skin cancers because it can spread to other organs

The annual 5k was a blast!

On May 2nd, there were over 150 participants at the 5k! The 5k included a timed race/walk, a bouncy house, various snacks, and a DJ! It was such a joy to be able to see all of those who love pur mission as much as we do. We want to thank everyone who participated and donated to LifeSpring. Your support is going to help us be the hands and feet of Jesus when serving the children of Chattanooga.

Introducing our very own Dr. De Jesús PhD, LMFT!

Dr. Alyson De Jesús has completed her Doctorate of Philosophy in Marriage and Family Therapy! While pursuing her degree, she also served patients in our Department of Behavioral Health and completed over 1,200 hours of care at LifeSpring, paving the way toward her licensure. We are beyond proud of her hard work and dedication to furthering care for our patients.

We love you, caregivers!💕

Today, we are recognizing the caregivers who take care of all the little ones who come to our clinic. Our front office handed out over 25 bags with notes of encouragement in both English and Spanish and LifeSpring band aids. Huge shout out to our front office coordinator, Gabrielle Mendez, for organizing this sweet gesture.

Big things are happening at LifeSpring! Our Practice Manager, Johanna Hernandez, and Medical Director, Dr. Heather Naggar, are diving deep into the latest features of Office Practicum.

2025 was a landmark year of growth for us, and transitioning to a pediatric-specific EHR was one of our most impactful shifts. Thanks to the hands-on training from the OP team, our providers are spending less time on charts and more time where it matters most: with our patients.

Had an incredibly impactful visit to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank!

Seeing their operations firsthand truly drove home the reality of food insecurity in our community and the essential nature of their services. With the rising costs of food and gas, the need is more urgent than ever for our patients. This visit highlighted how food access is a critical social determinant of health. We learned so much from the Food Bank's efficiency and dedication, and we're bringing those lessons back to better manage our own small food pantry and support our patients even more effectively. Fun fact: LifeSpring and Chattanooga Area Food Bank are in the same United Way of Greater Chattanooga cohort!
