Physical Rehabilitation is hard, but going through it with people beside you who understand makes all the difference.
After weeks in the ICU and multiple surgeries following a motorcycle accident, Babar arrived at Siskin Hospital feeling discouraged and exhausted. What he found here was more than physical healing, he found connection, encouragement, and a group of fellow patients who helped him keep going.
From celebrating his first day of weight bearing to cheering each other on long after discharge, their story is a powerful reminder that healing happens together.

When Babar Khawaja moved to Chattanooga from Rochester, New York, in 2024 for a new job with the Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union, he was excited to immerse himself in the community. He especially looked forward to riding his motorcycle along the scenic routes the Tennessee Valley has to offer.
