I am currently accepting Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, Medicare, and all McLaren health plans. My name is Lynette DePeter-Schulz.

I am a Master's Level Social Worker. I graduated with my Master's in Social Work in 2005 from the University of Chicago. Across my experiences I have come to discover that sometimes in order to move forward and find our own path, we need an objective person to listen and help sort through our feelings and reactions. I assist individuals to cope with general life stressors, grief and loss, depression, and anxiety. Together we will explore modalities to meet your specific needs and develop an effective client-focused plan. My areas of focus are Stress Management, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Strengths Based approaches. I have worked within many systems, including grief support programs, crisis intervention, and schools. As a result, I understand how to communicate with families, parents, doctors, and educators. Forward Path Counseling is seeking a compassionate, motivated master’s-level mental health clinician to join our growing private practice as a 1099 independent contractor. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, administrative support, and the opportunity to build a meaningful caseload while providing high-quality, client-centered care in a supportive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples and/or families based on clinical experience and areas of interest.
• Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
• Maintain ethical, professional, and clinically appropriate standards of care.
• Collaborate with colleagues through optional consultation and peer support opportunities.
• Manage scheduling and caseload within agreed-upon parameters.

Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health field.
• Active Michigan license required.
• Fully licensed clinicians, including LMSW or LPC, are preferred; limited license clinicians, including LLMSW or LLPC, are welcome to apply.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with electronic health records preferred.
• Liability insurance required.
