As a follower of Jesus and reiki practitioner, it’s important to recognize that Jesus broke through the walls of oppression and limited mindsets. He did not surrender to what humans thought was right/wrong. He got away from the noise and went within to connect with God. He healed with his hands and taught this. It wasn’t called “reiki” then but basically the same concept. Many get it twisted which is why you should always be cautious with who touches you. But you can’t deny the scripture just because it’s misunderstood.

Mark 16:17-18: "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons... they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover".

Reiki practice is the same-working through light and love, but is facilitated by those who go within to find the light and use intention and prayerful words to access God’s Universal laws in order to utilize their God given gifts.
