Several members of the Endeavor Health Services team had the opportunity to attend the 2026 Mental Health Advocates of WNY Annual Dinner, “Inspiring Change,” yesterday evening.

It was a meaningful night centered around advocacy, connection, and continued support for mental health services throughout Western New York. We were honored to support the event as a table sponsor and are grateful to Mental Health Advocates of WNY for the important work they do every day to promote awareness, education, advocacy, and support within our community.

We’re excited to introduce a new collaboration at Endeavor Health Services!

In partnership with author Stephen Nawotniak, we’re launching the Mubu Initiative, inspired by Mubu the Morph and Blue Mubu and centered on a powerful message: our self-identity comes from within.

Through engaging storytelling, the Mubu series helps children, adolescents, and families explore emotions, build resilience, and better understand themselves.

As part of this initiative, we offer:
• Book readings for groups
• Interactive activities for youth
• Educational materials and resources
• Community outreach and events

We’re excited to bring the Mubu Initiative into the community through upcoming events and partnerships, and we’re grateful for your continued support of mental health awareness.

Mental Health Awareness Month is a time to bring more attention to mental health, strengthen support in our communities, and encourage open, honest conversations.

It’s a reminder that mental health matters every day, and that connection, understanding, and compassion can make a real difference.

Take a moment this month to check in with yourself and those around you.

At Endeavor Health Services, we believe awareness should lead to action. One way we’re doing that is through our Mental Health Awareness Training (MHAT) program.

We offer free trainings that help individuals and organizations recognize signs of mental health and substance use challenges, respond to a crisis, and connect people to care.

Today is National Fentanyl Awareness Day.

Fentanyl is often present without someone’s knowledge, increasing the risk of overdose in ways many don’t expect.

While overdose deaths are down from record highs, too many lives, especially young people, are still at risk from fake prescription pills made with fentanyl.

Behind every statistic is a person, a story, and the possibility of recovery.

At Endeavor Health Services, we support the people we serve through compassionate, person-centered care. Our substance use services include medication assisted treatment, intensive outpatient programs, and specialized support for adults and adolescents.

Taking action can save lives. Learn the signs of an overdose, carry naloxone, and have open, judgment-free conversations.

Naloxone is available over the counter and can reverse a fentanyl overdose. Learn where to get it and how to use it at fentanylawarenessday.org.
