A little choppy but it was short enough to be a reel. 🙃

I have been using Progressive Counting since 2015 and assisting with the trainings since 2019, and I’m really looking forward to this next one.

Progressive Counting is a trauma-resolution method that works through memory reconsolidation. It’s different from EMDR, but many clinicians find it easier to learn and easier to bring into their day-to-day practice. A lot of clients also find it easier to tolerate.

The training is live online and interactive, so it’s not just sitting through lectures for CE credits. The focus is really on helping you leave with tools you can actually use with clients.

We’ll cover Progressive Counting (of course) but we also cover, polyvagal theory, attachment wounding, dissociation, the Flash Technique, grounding and resourcing, trauma history, case formulation, and many other topics to enhance your experience.

Nicole Wolasz, LCSWR is the main trainer, and Annie Monaco will be joining us as a special guest presenter on dissociation.

The training includes 30 continuing-education hours, and EMDR-trained clinicians can also receive 12 EMDRIA CEs.

It is well tolerated, and highly effective in reducing emotional reactivity and behaviors associated with trauma.
