At Thorbeckes, we love when our members
Wipe It, Re-Rack It, & Trash It -
to help keep Thorbeckes fresh and clean! 😅
Because sharing gains is cool - sharing germs, and not cleaning up after yourself, not so much.

Matthew has worked for Thorbeckes for 2 years. We love to see this.
Way to go, Matthew!

SENIOR HIGHLIGHT: Matthew Watson is a three-year starter at center for the Napavine football program. He's a senior team captain and one of the leaders on this year's football team. Matt has been playing football since the third grade and has worked hard to continue the legacy of a long line of stellar Tiger lineman including Keith Olson, Jack Nelson, Pablo Ruedas and Diego Martinez.

He's also a varsity basketball and baseball player for the Tigers, and won a state championship last spring on the Tiger baseball team.

After high school, Matthew plans to attend college with the longterm goal of becoming a teacher and coach. His parents are Brian and Jen Watson and his siblings are Makayla, Jordyn and Tyler.

— SENIOR HIGHLIGHTS: Today, we begin a new and ongoing reader-submitted series focused on local seniors finishing their final year in high school and preparing for graduation. Senior Highlights are for celebrating accomplishments on the field or in the classroom. The rules aren't stringent — just send us a photo or two of a local high school senior along with a description of some of their accomplishments and goals. We will publish as many as we can throughout the year.

To be considered, send photos and details to [email protected].

💙 MORE THAN A GYM: THE COMMUNITY WITHIN 💙

DON’T JOIN THORBECKES UNLESS YOU WANT TO…

Find a place where people know your name.

Where someone notices when you haven’t been to class in a while.

Where a complete stranger becomes your workout buddy, your biggest cheerleader, and sometimes even a lifelong friend.

Because here’s the thing…

You can find workout equipment anywhere.

But finding a place where you feel like you BELONG? That’s something special. 💙

At Thorbeckes, we’ve watched friendships form, confidence grow, goals get crushed, and people show up for each other through so much more than just workouts.

It’s the familiar faces in your favorite class.

The conversations before and after a workout.

The encouragement when you’re ready to give up.

The laughter, the high-fives, and the little victories we celebrate together.

And sometimes? It’s simply knowing there’s a place you can walk into and feel welcome.

THAT is what makes us more than a gym.

We’re a community. And we’re pretty darn proud of the one we’ve built together. 💙

10/19/2026

The gym wins everytime.
See you soon!
