Donald Clifford Morgan passed away after a brief illness on July 18, 2026, at the age of 84. He was a very loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He was born on July 14, 1942, to Alfred and Maurine Morgan in Exeter, California. He grew up in Visalia, California, with his three brothers: Jimmy, Richard, and Gary. After attending Redwood High School, he married Rosalee Voshell. They had two daughters: Susan and Dianne and he helped raise a stepson, Troy. He worked several jobs but driving the street sweeper for the City of Exeter was one of his favorites.
After visiting Washington to pick apples in the summer Don then moved to Chelan, where he worked in the apple industry. He later became the manager of the Trout Warehouse. He met and married his wife, Karen, in February of 1995. He became stepfather to her three children: Dawn, Daren and Kim. With Karen, he enjoyed travelling to Mexico, cruising, boating on Lake Chelan and was a fan of Chelan High School sports, the Seahawks, and the Mariners. Ultimately, Don will be remembered for his lifelong passion for fishing.
Don is survived by his wife, Karen; daughters: Susan Crew (Jimmy) and Dianne Jenkins (Dave); stepchildren: Troy Bainard, Daren Christensen and Kim Brown; grandchildren: Dawn, Veronica, Ashley, Brooke, Lexi, Taylor and Selena; great grandchildren: Faith, Autumn and Andy; brother, Jimmy (Cathy) and many nieces, nephews and friends. Charles “Delbert” (“Del”) Prewitt was born on July 26, 1930, in Twisp, Washington, and passed away at his home in Tacoma, on July 28, 2026, at the age of 96.

Del was the oldest of four children born to Art and Edna Prewitt. He grew up on the family ranch near Balky Hill in Twisp, where he developed a lifelong love of ranching, horses, hunting, fishing, and the Methow Valley. During his school years, he excelled at sports and formed enduring friendships. He graduated from Twisp High School in 1948, although the class did not have a graduation ceremony because of the historic 1948 flood.

After high school, Del worked for the U.S. Forest Service on trail crews, eventually becoming a trail boss because of his knowledge of horses and the backcountry. He often joked that giving a young man dynamite was an adventure in itself.

When the Korean War began, Del enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving from 1950 to 1955. While stationed in Japan, he married Kyoko Tateishi in 1953. After returning to the United States, they had three sons: Trace, Craig, and Zane.

Following his military service, Del worked at the Wagner Lumber Mill in Twisp, before moving to Cheney to attend Eastern Washington College, while supporting his family by working at Eastern State Hospital. He completed college in just three years, then fulfilled his dream of becoming a physician by graduating from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 1962. During his internship on...

Kerri Kathleen Wilson, 60, of Brewster, Washington, died peacefully at home on Monday, August 3, 2026.
She was born June 6, 1966, in Prosser, Washington, to Elzie and Betty Mathews. Kerri spent her childhood years fishing, camping and spending time with her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. In 1977, to help a young church, the family made a big move to Brewster Washington. Kerri was baptized on June 6, 1978, by Bro. Lester Clevenger, into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn. She was an example of faithfulness and kindness. She cared for the sick, spent the first nights with many newborns, and was first on the list to bring in food.
Kerri grew up in a family of musicians and loved singing. Her voice was a gift. It lifted the spirit and comforted many. She sang at funerals and weddings, but her greatest joy was singing with the brethren.
Kerri was outgoing and made friends easily. She was a Brewster FFA officer and on the livestock judging team. Kerri performed in the State Choir and graduated from Brewster High School in 1984. Kerri got her Associate’s degree and was dietary manager for Harmony House in Brewster until she got married.
Kerri married the love of her life, Jord Wilson on December 12, 1992, in Brewster. Kerri and Jord often worked as a team. Their first job together was managing Pateros Garden Apartments. While in Oklahoma, Kerri managed apartments and would pick Jord up between class to repaint empty...
