Advancing age is the single most significant risk factor for developing breast cancer.

While awareness campaigns often focus on younger women, the reality is that the likelihood of developing the disease continues to rise as you get older.

Most health organizations recommend continuing mammograms as long as a woman is in good overall health and has a life expectancy of 10 years or more.
