Sunlight Care services allow people to thrive in their own homes by providing well trained caregivers who help people perform the basic activities of life necessary to be functional, happy and most importantly - healthy. These activities are called “Activities of Daily Living” (ADLs). Sunlight Care also prov

ide companion caregivers whose support is limited to household care, friendship, safety watch and other “non-personal” support. All our caregivers are bonded and have passed a criminal background check. Our caregivers who provide personal care with ADLs have also completed a specialized 76 hour training course, are certified by the state of New Jersey and have undergone skills verification by our Registered Nurse. Our owner, Vance Propati, is a member of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors (CSA) and an American Heart Association (AHA) Certified CPR & First Aid Instructor. CSA's are professionals who have demonstrated broad-based knowledge about aging and the important issues that affect seniors. CSAs have received comprehensive training and education and have passed a national exam in health, financial and social issues facing many of today’s seniors and their families. Vance spent half his life in the defense industry where he was an accomplished business leader. His many years of experience and training were always focused on one single theme – “Zero Failures”. A zero failure approach means that every aspect of an organization’s operation has been evaluated for process weaknesses. Further, contingency plans have been created to handle both expected and unexpected problems without failing our customers. In both the medical and defense industries, failures can be life threatening and therefore, failures are unacceptable. Sunlight Care is a family run home health care company owned by long-time South Jersey resident Vance Propati. We service most of southern New Jersey with quality caregivers and services for seniors and physically or mentally challenged individuals.

Yesterday we celebrated someone who has made an incredible impact on our team and the many lives she has touched throughout her career. Thank you, Sandy Wolff Meyer, for your dedication, compassion, leadership, and commitment to caring for others. Your guidance as our Director of Nursing has helped shape the heart of who we are, and your presence will be deeply missed by both our team and the clients we serve.
