This was such a fun podcast!! 🚔💙 Yes, we interviewed police officers! Yes, we laughed hysterically!! And yes, we talked about all the incredible efforts the EvesEvesham Township Police (NJ) making for the special needs community in Marlton and throughout New Jersey.

Who should listen? Parents, guardians, caregivers, and anyone who has fears or concerns about their loved one being out in the community. Hearing directly from these officers offers a reassuring perspective—they genuinely care, are committed to keeping everyone safe, and are working hard to build trust and support for individuals with disabilities and their families.

Thank you to Jamiel Owens and the team at CHOP’s Center for Autism Research and PASSAGE Program for putting together this important workshop for autistic teens, young adults, families, caregivers, and professionals.

“Next Steps into Adulthood” will focus on topics including employment, independent living, healthcare transition, post-secondary planning, and community supports as families prepare for adulthood.
