FOX Rehabilitation

FOX Rehabilitation FOX rehabilitates lives. Our clinicians provide clinically excellent care to older adults.

FOX is a primarily clinician-operated, professional private practice of full-time physical and occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and fitness specialists, built on the foundation of Geriatric House Calls™. The practice has always stayed true to its mission of rehabilitating lives by believing in the strength of people. Clinicians are given the autonomy to provide clinically exc

ellent care through evidence-based interventions and best practice guidelines. Within FOX Rehabilitation, our culture is one of respect and hard work. Our private practice is built around support systems to give clinicians the tools they need to succeed while achieving professional fulfillment. Every colleague is equally important to the success of FOX Rehabilitation; it is this philosophy that creates a supportive atmosphere!

Low vision can impact so much more than reading the fine print—it can affect safety, independence, confidence, and participation in everyday routines. 👀🏠

In OT, we worked together to make my patient’s ILF apartment more accessible and easier to navigate by using low vision modifications + functional adaptations tailored to their daily routines.

✨ Increased contrast for important items
✨ Improved lighting/visibility
✨ Simplified organization of frequently used items
✨ Visual cues and labels
✨ Environmental modifications to support safety and independence

The goal wasn’t to change how they live—it was to modify the environment so they can continue living the way they want to. ❤️

This is OT: adapting the environment, not limiting the person!

Respiratory training doesn’t have to feel like exercise. 🫁🌬️

This simple, game-based activity helps older adults strengthen respiratory muscles while building the endurance needed for everyday tasks like walking, dressing, bathing, and completing household activities.

It may be appropriate for older adults experiencing:
✴️ Decreased activity tolerance or fatigue during daily activities
✴️ General deconditioning following hospitalization or illness
✴️COPD or other chronic pulmonary conditions (when medically appropriate)
✴️ Neurological conditions such as stroke or Parkinson’s disease that impact breath control and coordination
✴️ Recovery following respiratory illness
✴️ Cognitive impairment, where interactive, purposeful activities can improve participation and engagement

At FOX Rehabilitation, every intervention is designed with function in mind—helping older adults build the strength, endurance, and confidence to live better, longer! 🦊💪
