Day 1. "She Shapes History"

This week, we're celebrating the incredible women who lead, inspire, and continue to grow both personally and professionally. 💜

Recently, Dr. Collier had the opportunity to attend a retreat hosted by Tory Burch, where she connected with her cohort of distinguished Tory Burch Fellows- outstanding women entrepreneurs and leaders who shared experiences and gained fresh perspectives.

Stepping away from the day-to-day routine to attend a retreat isn't just about taking a break—it's an opportunity to reset, reflect, learn, and build meaningful relationships with others who understand the unique challenges and rewards of leadership. These connections often spark new ideas, provide valuable support, and inspire continued growth both professionally and personally.

We're proud to see Dr. Collier investing in herself and bringing that inspiration back to the 4D Vision Gym community. 🌟

Many parents say the same thing:

“I knew something felt off… I just couldn’t explain it.” 💜

Sometimes the signs are subtle — homework taking too long, reading frustration, avoidance, exhaustion, or confidence changes over time.

Parental intuition matters. If you’ve had that feeling for a while, it may be worth taking a closer look at how your child’s visual system is functioning. 👀

Not every child who struggles with reading has dyslexia — and not every reading struggle is purely academic. 👀📖

Sometimes hidden visual skill difficulties can also make reading feel exhausting, frustrating, or overwhelming.

That doesn’t dismiss dyslexia at all — in fact, visual challenges and dyslexia can sometimes overlap. 💜

📩 If your child is still struggling despite support, it may be worth looking at how their visual system is functioning too.

Sometimes “clumsiness” is more than just being uncoordinated. 👀

Visual skills like depth perception and eye coordination help children move confidently through everyday activities — from sports to stairs to catching a ball.

📩 If your child struggles with balance, coordination, or avoiding physical activities, a comprehensive vision evaluation may help uncover why.

Some children become experts at compensating.

By the time adults notice a struggle, many kids have already spent years adapting quietly in the classroom and at home.

That’s why hidden visual difficulties are often missed — especially in bright, hardworking children. 👀💜

📩 If something has been feeling “off” even though your child seems smart and capable, we’re here to help you look deeper.

What looks like distraction, rushing, or lack of confidence in the classroom can sometimes be a child working extra hard just to keep up visually. 💛

Teachers often spend hours watching how children learn day-to-day, which is why their observations can be incredibly important.

📩 If concerns about reading or school performance keep coming up, we’re here to help you look deeper.

Skipping small words while reading isn’t always carelessness. 👀📖

For some children, their eyes may be struggling to track accurately across the page, causing them to miss or guess words without realizing it.

📩 If reading feels unusually frustrating or exhausting for your child, we’re here to help.

Some children don’t realize they’re seeing double — because their brain quietly adapts to it over time. 👀

Instead of complaining, they may compensate by skipping words, losing their place, avoiding reading, or getting tired easily during schoolwork. 📖

📩 If your child struggles with reading or visual comfort, a comprehensive vision evaluation may help uncover what’s being missed.

Many parents think this is just a reading habit — but excessive head movement while reading can sometimes be a sign a child is working harder than they should to track words across the page. 👀📖

Small signs like these are often easy to miss. 💛

📩 If you’ve noticed this during homework or reading time, we’re here to help.
