Shirley Melton Roof, a cherished soul whose warmth and love touched many, passed away on June 4, 2026, in Saluda, South Carolina. Born on September 19, 1947, in Chester, SC, Shirley’s life was one beautifully woven with steadfast devotion to her family and community. Shirley’s legacy of love extends even deeper, embraced by her six great-grandchildren who were a constant source of pride and happiness. The family warmly welcomes friends and loved ones to a visitation on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home, located at 801 Columbia Rd, Edgefield, SC 29824.
