A big thank you to our friends at Chester Meat Market for displaying one of our Chester First Aid Squad donation boxes by their register!

They join other generous local businesses, including Linda’s Biscotti, Ace Hardware, New York Pizza, Roman Pizza, Chester Fine Wines & Spirits, Gabe's Bagels, Sub Pub, Chester Diner and South Side Coffee Shop, in helping us raise funds to support our portion of the cost of the new ambulance and the many other expenses required to keep CFAS operating and serving our community.

If you’re shopping at one of these fine Chester businesses, please consider dropping a few coins or bills into the CFAS donation box. Every contribution helps.

We are extremely grateful to these local businesses for their support, and to the entire Chester community for continuing to support the Chester First Aid Squad.

We have hosted dozens of Blood Drives over the years and today our drive had to be cancelled due to issues at the Barn, after setting up. We sincerely apologize to all who had signed up to donate (and those that showed up to learn of the news in person) for the cancellation. It was unfortunately out of our control. We look forward to a successful Blood Drive on December 26th! 😊

IT'S HERE!

Chester First Aid Squad is proud to welcome our new 2025 Horton 603 ambulance, which will soon be ready to serve the Chester community.

Made possible through a FEMA grant, support from Chester Township and Chester Borough, CFAS funding, and the generosity of our community, this new ambulance will help keep our team safely responding to our neighbors for years to come.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this possible.

And a huge thank you to Dr. Kalavrouziotis and the staff at Black River Dental, who treated us to ice cream sandwiches from Taylor’s during last night’s squad meeting and ambulance set-up session, making our celebration of the new ambulance even sweeter!

And because they are dentists, they also sent toothbrushes for everyone, with a reminder not to forget to brush!😂

Thank you, Black River Dental, for thinking of our squad and helping us celebrate!

A HUGE Thank You to Mavis Tire in Chester!

We want to give a big shoutout to the amazing team at Mavis Tire in Chester! When our Chief’s truck needed a tire repair, they squeezed us into their busy schedule, got us taken care of, and then didn’t charge us a dime.

Acts of kindness and generosity like this truly mean a lot to us.
