One of the biggest misconceptions about magic is that people think it starts with a ritual.

I don’t think it does.

I think it starts much earlier than that.

It starts with attention.

Every day, you’re feeding something.

You’re feeding your fears or your faith.

You’re feeding your limitations or your possibilities.

You’re feeding the stories you tell yourself about who you are and what is possible for you.

Most people don’t realize how much power there is in what they repeatedly think about, talk about, expect, and emotionally invest in.

Your attention is not neutral.

Your emotions are not neutral.

Your beliefs are not neutral.

Your expectations are not neutral.

They are constantly influencing how you interpret the world, what opportunities you notice, what risks you avoid, what choices you make, and ultimately, the direction your life takes.

This is one of the reasons I love Hermetic philosophy so much.

It forces us to stop seeing ourselves as passive observers and start recognizing how often we are participating in the creation of our own experience.

Not through wishful thinking.

Not through fantasy.

But through attention.

Through repetition.

Through belief.

Through emotion.

Through expectation.

Most people think magic is something that happens during a ritual.

Hermeticists understood that magic is happening long before the candle is ever lit.

The question isn’t whether you’re practicing magic.

The question is:

What are you practicing?

Wanted to share this message for those who may need it…

Sometimes the breakthrough isn’t the blessing.

It’s realizing you’ve been arguing with the truth for six months.

You knew that relationship wasn’t right.

You knew that job was draining you.

You knew you were playing small to keep other people comfortable.

You knew… you hear me? YOU KNEW!

The problem wasn’t a lack of clarity.

The problem was what that clarity was going to cost.

You think you’re waiting for an answer.

You’re actually waiting until the answer becomes less inconvenient.

This card is a reminder that awareness alone doesn’t change your life.

You can know exactly what’s keeping you stuck and still stay stuck.

You can see the pattern and still repeat it.

You can receive the message and still ignore it.

Fire is the element of action.

It doesn’t sit around discussing possibilities.

It moves.

It transforms.

It changes the nature of whatever it touches.

The question isn’t:

“What is Spirit trying to show me?”

The question is:

“What truth have I already seen that I’m still avoiding?”

Because there comes a point where more signs won’t help.

At some point you have to stop gathering information and start making decisions.

This card says the light is already on.

Now look at what it’s showing you. 🔥

Love ya’ll

On June 19, 2026, Chiron enters Ta**us.

It will remain there until 2034.

And I think this is going to be one of the most important collective healing journeys of our lifetime.

I’ve been sitting with this transit, and I keep coming back to the same thought:

A lot of people don’t need more money.

They need to feel safe.

Because what I’ve noticed is that some people can have money and still feel broke.

They can have support and still feel alone.

They can have opportunities and still expect everything to fall apart.

That’s not a money issue.

That’s a survival issue.

Many of us were raised around fear.

Fear of not having enough.
Fear of losing what we have.
Fear of getting comfortable.
Fear of resting.
Fear of depending on anybody.

For some people, those fears didn’t start with them.

They inherited them.

And I think Chiron in Ta**us is going to bring a lot of that to the surface between now and 2034.

Not to punish us.

To show us what’s been running in the background the whole time.

I think we’re going to see deeper conversations around self-worth, nervous system healing, ancestral scarcity, food sovereignty, land stewardship, herbalism, and what it actually means to feel secure.

Not look secure.

Feel secure.

Because there’s a difference.

A lot of people know how to survive.

The question Chiron in Ta**us may be asking is:

Do you know how to receive?

And maybe an even harder question:

Can you keep what you’ve received without expecting it to disappear?

Have you ever noticed that the same patterns keep showing up in your family?

Different people.

Different generations.

Same wounds.

Same struggles.

Same silence.

Same stories.

At some point, many of us begin to realize that what we’re carrying may not have started with us.

Some things are passed down intentionally.

Others are passed down unconsciously.

In this workshop, we’ll explore the Seven Generations Principle and take a deeper look at how family stories, beliefs, survival strategies, strengths, gifts, and wounds can move through generations.

We’ll talk about why patterns repeat, why healing can create tension within families, and what it means to become the person who changes the trajectory of a family line.

This isn’t about blaming your parents.

This isn’t about blaming your ancestors.

It’s about understanding the patterns well enough to decide what continues and what ends with you.

Most people think inheritance is something the living receive from the dead.

But lately I’ve been thinking about the reverse.

What if the dead inherit things too?

Not money.

Not property.

Not possessions.

But Stories…

Reputations.

Secrets.

Silence.

Honor.

Blame.

The more I sit with ancestor work, the more I realize that once someone dies, they no longer control the story that survives them.

Their descendants do.

Families decide who gets remembered.

Who gets praised.

Who gets blamed.

Who gets talked about.

Who gets erased.

Every family has people whose names are spoken often and people who seem to disappear from the story altogether.

And over time, those stories become a kind of inheritance.

Some ancestors inherit honor through prayers, offerings, songs, and remembrance.

Some inherit blame for things they may or may not have been responsible for.

Some inherit silence.

Some inherit understanding.

That last one is the one I think about the most.

There are ancestors who were judged for choices that make a lot more sense once you understand the circumstances they were living through.

Poverty.

Violence.

Displacement.

Colonization.

Survival.

Sometimes what looks like weakness was adaptation.

Sometimes what looks like cruelty was fear.

Sometimes what looks like indifference was exhaustion.

Understanding doesn’t excuse harm.

But it does provide context.

And context can completely change the way we remember someone.

To me, that is a form of healing.

Not because we’re rewriting history.

But because we’re finally seeing it more clearly.

Families are always editing the past.

We elevate certain people.

Protect certain stories.

Bury others.

The result is that not every ancestor survives memory intact.

So yea… that’s what I’ve been thinking about A LOT lately…
The stories we inherit.

The stories we repeat.

And the stories we continue to create about the people who came before us.

Because long after a body returns to the earth, a story keeps moving through the family.

And sometimes that story becomes the greatest inheritance of all.

Earlier this week I saw a turtle.

Today I saw a baby deer.

Normally I’d just appreciate the wildlife, but Turtle is my grandmother’s clan and Deer is my grandfather’s clan.

So seeing both in the same week definitely made me stop and think.

Maybe it’s coincidence.

Maybe it’s a reminder that we’re never as far from our people as we think.

Either way, I said thank you.

One thing I’ve noticed is that unfinished things don’t just disappear because time passes.

People often think if they ignore something long enough, it’ll stop affecting them.

Sometimes it does.

A lot of times it doesn’t.

I’ve seen old heartbreaks show up in new relationships.

Old grief show up as exhaustion.

Old disappointments show up as fear.

Old versions of ourselves show up every time we’re asked to step into something bigger.

Not because we’re broken.

Because some things are still asking for our attention.

We live in a culture that celebrates moving on.

But sometimes the real work isn’t moving on.

It’s sitting with what was left unfinished.

The conversation you never had.

The apology you never received.

The dream you abandoned.

The grief you never gave yourself permission to feel.

Not everything needs closure from another person.

Not everything gets a neat ending.

But that doesn’t mean it can’t be released.

Some things are released through understanding.

Some through acceptance.

Some through finally deciding you don’t want to carry them anymore.

Healing isn’t always about fixing.

Sometimes it’s about finishing.

And sometimes it’s about realizing the chapter is already over, even though you’ve been rereading the same page.

What unfinished thing have you been carrying longer than you needed to? I truly wanna hear about it in the comments…

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that ancestors don’t always help us in the ways we want them to.

A lot of people think ancestor work is about asking for something and receiving it.

But sometimes the answer is no.

Sometimes the answer is not yet.

And sometimes the answer is, “You still have something to learn first.”

I’ve seen people ask for healing while avoiding the work that healing requires.

Ask for change while holding on to the very thing keeping them stuck.

Ask for a different outcome while making the same choices.

Not every delay is a denial.

Not every obstacle is a punishment.

Sometimes the lesson is the blessing.

Sometimes the protection looks like a closed door.

And sometimes the greatest support your ancestors can give you is refusing to remove the thing that’s trying to teach you.

The wisest ancestors don’t remove every obstacle.

They teach you how to walk through it.

Have you ever looked back on something that didn’t work out and realized later it was actually protecting you?

Tell me about it!
