💜 11 YEARS OF ADVOCACY. 11 YEARS OF COMPASSION. 11 YEARS OF PROTECTING HUMANITY. 💜

For 11 years, Affinity Patient Advocacy (APA) has been a voice for the voiceless, standing beside individuals and families when they need it most.

Founded in 2015 by Christina DiArcangelo, APA was built on the values instilled in her by her father, Albert J. DiArcangelo, Sr.—a hardworking union leader who believed in integrity, compassion, and fighting for others.

Today, October 13, also marks 11 years since Albert’s passing. His legacy continues through Christina’s unwavering dedication to protecting the vulnerable and advocating for those who cannot advocate for themselves.

Through personal loss, adversity, and countless challenges, Christina has ensured that APA continues providing advocacy services free of charge, because everyone deserves a voice.

💜 A father’s values. A daughter’s vision. 11 years of changing lives.

As we celebrate this milestone, we honor Albert’s memory, Christina’s leadership, and everyone who has supported our mission.

The legacy continues. The mission never stops. 💜

💙💚 11 YEARS OF IMPACT 💚💙

For 11 years, Affinity Patient Advocacy has been standing beside patients and families when they need someone in their corner.

What began as a mission to advocate for patients has grown to support people across the United States, internationally, and elders who need advocacy, protection, and a voice.

Most importantly, our services are provided FREE OF CHARGE to the patients, families, and elders we serve.

APA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we depend on donations to continue this work.

In honor of our 11th anniversary, consider giving $11, $111, $1,100—or whatever is meaningful to you. Every gift helps us continue showing up for someone who needs an advocate. ❤️

There are moments that become more than an event… they become a movement.

Today, I’d like to personally invite you to join me on October 30, 2026, at The Mills House in Charleston, South Carolina, for the Affinity Patient Advocacy Great Gatsby Gala.

This evening is about far more than dressing up in Gatsby glamour. It’s about standing together for patients, caregivers, vulnerable families, and communities who need someone willing to advocate on their behalf.

As many of you know, Affinity Patient Advocacy is funded through the generosity of individuals, sponsors, and our fundraising efforts. Every ticket purchased, every sponsorship secured, and every silent auction donation helps us continue providing advocacy, education, and hope to those who often have nowhere else to turn.

Today I’m sharing the first reel from a special Humanitarian Horizons podcast where I talk about why this gala matters, the mission behind it, and the lives your support helps change. I hope you’ll take a moment to watch it and share it with your family, friends, colleagues, and anyone who believes in making a difference.

✨ Join us for an unforgettable evening.
✨ Become a sponsor.
✨ Donate a silent auction item.
✨ Help us continue changing lives.

I truly hope to welcome you personally on October 30th.

🎟️ Learn more, purchase tickets, become a sponsor, or donate a silent auction item:

💜 Elder Abuse Awareness: Protecting Our Seniors Starts With Us 💜

Every older adult deserves to live with dignity, respect, and safety.

Elder abuse can take many forms, including physical, emotional, financial, and psychological abuse, as well as neglect. Unfortunately, millions of older adults experience abuse each year—often at the hands of someone they know and trust.

By recognizing the warning signs and speaking up when something doesn’t seem right, we can help protect vulnerable seniors and ensure they receive the care, respect, and support they deserve.

✅ Listen and believe older adults when they share concerns.
✅ Check in regularly with elderly family members, friends, and neighbors.
✅ Report suspected abuse or neglect to the appropriate authorities.

Together, we can create communities where every senior feels safe, valued, and heard.

Your mental health matters. 💚

No one should have to face anxiety, stress, depression, or emotional challenges alone. At Affinity Patient Advocacy, we believe compassionate support and access to the right resources can make all the difference.

We listen.
We advocate.
We empower.

Healing is not linear, and asking for help is a sign of strength.

As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, let’s remember that mental health matters every single day. 💚

Taking care of your mind is just as important as taking care of your body. Whether it’s checking in with yourself, reaching out to a loved one, taking a break, or asking for help — every step toward wellness matters.

At Affinity Patient Advocacy, we believe in supporting the whole person with compassion, understanding, and care. Let’s continue the conversation beyond May and keep showing up for one another.

✨ You are not alone.
✨ You are valued.
✨ You matter.

🇺🇸 This Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

As we remember their courage and service, we also recognize the importance of supporting the mental health of veterans, military families, and all those carrying invisible burdens. Healing, hope, and connection matter. 💚

If you or someone you know is struggling, you are not alone. Reaching out for support is a sign of strength.

Today, we remember. We honor. We support mental wellness for all.

💚 Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

Mental health matters — every conversation, every act of support, and every moment of compassion can make a difference.

📊 By the Numbers:
• 1 in 5 adults experience mental illness each year
• 50% of lifetime mental health conditions begin by age 14
• 75% of people improve with support and treatment
• 988 provides 24/7 crisis support nationwide

Let’s continue breaking the stigma and building a culture where people feel safe asking for help. You are not alone. 🌱

🌿 No patient or elder should ever feel alone, unheard, or unprotected.

For years, Affinity Patient Advocacy has proudly helped hundreds of patients, families, and elders navigate some of life’s most difficult healthcare and life challenges — always free of charge.

Today, our mission has expanded even further to support and advocate for elders facing abuse, neglect, exploitation, and mistreatment. We believe every senior deserves dignity, safety, compassion, and a trusted advocate by their side.

From helping patients understand complex diagnoses and clinical studies to standing up for vulnerable elders who need protection and support, we are committed to being a voice for those who often feel powerless and alone.

Because we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we rely entirely on the generosity of compassionate donors to continue this critical work.

💚 Your donation helps us:
• Advocate for patients and families in crisis
• Support elders experiencing abuse or neglect
• Provide education, guidance, and resources
• Help caregivers and vulnerable individuals navigate healthcare systems
• Continue offering services completely free of charge

Every dollar makes a difference. Every act of kindness gives someone hope.
