PMOS doesn’t always show up in obvious ways. Sometimes, the clues can seem unrelated or easy to dismiss.

Persistent acne, thinning scalp hair, increased facial or body hair, darkened patches of skin, unpredictable periods, difficulty confirming ovulation, or unexplained weight changes may all be signs worth discussing with your healthcare provider.

Experiencing one of these symptoms does not necessarily mean you have PMOS. But if several sound familiar, especially if you are also having difficulty conceiving, it may be time to ask more questions.
