Speaking life is not pretending that difficulties do not exist. It is choosing words that align with truth, hope, and the promises of God while you continue to pray, heal, and take meaningful action. From a mental health perspective, when your thoughts remain fixed only on fear and uncertainty, your nervous system can stay in survival mode, increasing anxiety and emotional exhaustion. When you acknowledge reality, practice gratitude, and speak truth, your mind and body begin to settle and hope is strengthened.

You are not ignoring what is happening. You are walking by faith and allowing God’s truth to guide your thoughts, words, and actions. Faith and gratitude help shift your focus from what is threatening to what God is doing.

1 Thessalonians 5:18
James 2:17
Proverbs 18:21

Happy Mother’s Day to every woman who nurtures, loves, and pours into others.

Today, and everyday, remember to take care of you.

Your mind matters. Your heart matters. You matter.

Joy, peace, connection, laughter, worship, and God’s presence all support emotional healing. These moments can help the body release oxytocin, often called the “bonding hormone,” which helps calm the nervous system, lower stress, and create feelings of safety and connection.

Mental Health Awareness Tip
Take time today to slow down and experience joy intentionally. Sit in the sunlight, listen to worship music, laugh with someone safe, pray, breathe deeply, or simply rest in God’s presence.

“In Your presence is fullness of joy.” Psalm 16:11

Joy heals, found in God’s presence.

Breathe! Sometimes the most healing thing you can do is pause and breathe intentionally. Deep breathing helps calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and bring the body back into regulation. As you breathe, release the pressure you have been carrying and invite God into the moment. Peace begins when you slow down enough to receive it. FaithAndMentalHealth RestorationJourney

There are moments in our lives and in our relationships where something feels off, and instead of slowing down, we keep moving. This is an invitation to become more aware, not in fear, but in presence. Pay attention to your internal rhythm, your emotional pace, the way your body responds. Your awareness is not there to condemn you, it is there to guide you.

Part of that awareness is learning to recognize what is happening within you and around you:

* A rise in anger or irritability
* A sense of emotional shutdown or pulling away
* Feeling tense, overwhelmed, or constantly on edge
* Noticing controlling patterns or fear-based reactions
* Repeating the same cycles in communication or conflict

When you notice these shifts, give yourself permission to pause:

* “I need a moment.”
* “Let’s pause this conversation.”
* “I want to come back to this with clarity.”
* Step away, breathe, and allow your body to settle

Pausing is not weakness, it is awareness. It allows your heartbeat to slow, your mind to clear, and your response to come from a grounded place.

As you continue to grow, consider what it looks like to stay connected within:

* Learn your attachment style so you understand how you connect and respond
* Learn who you are and who your God is so your identity remains anchored
* Learn your core values so your decisions reflect what is rooted in you
* Gently explore the root of your anxiety with curiosity, not judgment
* Practice coping strategies that bring you back into regulation, clarity, and peace

If you find yourself needing support, you do not have to navigate it alone. You can connect with us at moveinfaithcs.com or find a therapist through Psychology Today or another trusted provider. Prayer is necessary and counseling is also a tool, a strategy that supports your healing. Prayer invites God into your space, and counseling helps you walk it out with understanding, structure, and support.

Today! Faith doesn’t deny the pain—it invites movement. If you’re feeling tired, discouraged, or heavy because the past didn’t turn out the way you hoped, you are not weak. You are human. Faith doesn’t always look like confidence. Sometimes it looks like getting out of bed, asking for help, or taking one small step forward while still feeling unsure. You don’t have to leap. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to move with the faith you have today. And you don’t have to wait for a new year to begin. Healing and movement can start now, to keep the momentum in 2026.

“Get up and eat, for the journey is too much for you.”
1 Kings 19:7

“Why, my soul, are you downcast? Put your hope in God.”
Psalm 42:5

Mid-November Already

Time is moving quickly, but we don’t have to let it pass us by.
Before you step into the next room, take a pause. A real pause — the kind that lets your mind breathe, your emotions settle, and your spirit recenter.

Scripture for the moment:
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
Psalm 46:10

Stillness is not weakness.
It is strategy. When we pause, the brain resets, emotions regulate, and behavior becomes intentional rather than reactive. This is the core of the Move In Faith posture — pause, center, then move.

Mid-November is the perfect time to slow down, reflect, and prepare your inner world before you walk into new rooms, new decisions, and new assignments.

Join me on November 21 at 8 PM
for The Rooms and The Return — a live talk on how to enter your next season with clarity, discernment, and emotional alignment.

11/14/2025

So much is shifting.
And maybe you’re in the in-between —
The moment between release and re-entry.
Between what was… and what could be.

You might be asking:
“Can I go back there?”
“Should I return to that space?”
“If I do… will I lose myself again?”

But here’s the truth:
Not every room requires your return.
And some do — but only when you return differently.

On November 21, We’ll talk about:
• How to walk in discernment
• How to set boundaries that protect your peace
• How to process what you didn’t go back to — but still carry
• And how to re-enter rooms as the healed, whole version of you

Because freedom isn’t the finish line — it’s the return.
Not to prove anything… but to reclaim who you are.

Join me.
Let’s walk back — with clarity, peace, and power.
