A little zoom in…

Breast reduction surgery serves two important purposes. . .
1) it helps symptoms like back pain, breast pain, and rashes between and under the breasts by removing tissue to take the weight off and repositioning the remaining tissue.

2) it rejuvenates the breasts by narrowing them, lifting them back onto the chest, and downsizing the ar**la. . .
Insurance won’t always cover it, so I do them with regularity on my practice, and it’s one of my favorite procedures. . .
Breast reduction patients are some of the happiest plastic surgery patients because there are so many benefits ✨

Ok yes our eyes get smaller as we age and we can’t fix it completely. . .
Our bones resorb and get smaller, which means the bony orbit gets wider and our eyes sink into the cave.

Fat gets smaller and resorbs- so our eyes sink in some more and tissues sag over our eyes.

Skin gets thinner and starts to looks like you’re literally growing skin, but really it’s just thinning out. … again, sagging over our eyes. . .

The answer for the above?

Fat transfer and sometimes implants to substitute for bony support.

Skin removal because we can’t completely thicken up the skin and give the support back so we remove what’s hanging.

brow repositioning to put them higher up in a better position and show more of our eyes. . .
But, there’s only so much of these things we can do before you start looking weird.

Maybe one day we will learn how to really turn back the aging process. But for now, I’ll use all the tools I currently have in my toolbox!

Pain management is so important after surgery so that you have a smooth recovery, but most people have trouble not just reaching straight for the narcotic. ✨ . .
Most patients use the narcotic right away, pass out, then wake up in pain, and do it all over again. This is NOT good and not effective. . .
The medications I prescribe start the night before surgery and are a scheduled regimen of anti-inflammatories, nerve pain medicines, muscle relaxers (minimally and as needed), pain receptor blockers, ice, and a positive attitude. This really helps keeps a steady dose of pain control, minimizes nausea and constipation and withdrawal. . .
Remember, pain control does NOT mean pain elimination. And everyone has a different pain threshold. But with this regimen, most have a smooth recovery without huge swings in pain control- which means no huge swings in blood pressure (lower risk of postop bleeds!), better rest, and smooth recovery.

Plenty of men want rejuvenation but they’re so afraid of looking… weird. To avoid this, I leave a little on the table ✨ . .
Cleaned up jawline, good Adam’s apple contour, cleaned up neck, strong chin- all things I aim for. But the cleaned up eyelid hooding and browlift? I keep it conservative. . .
We see this a lot in male celebrities and 99% of the time, their eyes are too corrected for a male aesthetic, so it ends up looking odd in an otherwise masculine face. . .

For men, it’s important not to make the eyes too cleaned up- gotta leave a little hooding- and it’s important not to make the face too full in the cheeks- men don’t tend to have full apples of the cheeks. . .
Of course everyone has a different idea of what they want, but for the 99% of men who come into my practice and say they “don want to look like so and so”, this is what I discuss with them ✨

The aesthetic meet 2026 in Boston!

Got on stage to discuss shaping the neck with some of the best, brushed up on ponytail skills with the one and only, celebrated 30th anniversary with the editorial board, caught up with living legend and dear mentor and friend , saw Fenway full and empty :), reunited with long distance friends and colleagues, shopped a little and caffeinated a lot in the marketplace (got some new scissors and dissectors 🤓), checked out the newest coming tech, and wrapped it all up with my bestie in all things plastics

Until next year! ✨

One month after breast augmentation for a sporty look. . .
She is incredibly active and athletic. (animation of her implants with chest muscle use wasn’t an option for me, so I recommended on top of the muscle implants).

She requested a very low profile implant to help her feel more feminine (I didn’t want the edges of her implants to show and I wanted to give her a soft natural look, so I recommended fat transfer on top).

She also had large ni**le papilla and hated that she didn’t need a bra but had to wear ni**le covers to keep them from poking through her clothes (certainly something I could take off her list of things to spend energy on with a ni**le papilla reduction 🤍). . .

For her, I performed:
✔️ subfascial breast augmentation (on top of the muscle) with 125cc low profile implants
✔️fat transfer from her outer thighs (her stubborn area) to customize her cleavage and really smooth the edges of her implant and add softness to the look
✔️ni**le papilla reduction so she doesn’t have to worry about them showing through her clothes . .
She is so thrilled and sent us this photo. I’m so happy she got exactly what she was hoping for ✨

No. Ni****ne. 🚫 . .
For at 6 weeks before and 6 weeks after your surgery, you cannot use any ni****ne in any shape or form. It will seriously jeopardize you results, possibly even to the point where it cannot be fixed. . .
I ni****ne test and will cancel surgery for a positive result. This is for YOUR safety.

Blueboy agrees.
