The key takeaway? For the tear trough, treatment depends on severity and anatomy. . .
A very subtle tear trough? Maybe a little filler in the office. . .
A little more prominent and deep, plus fat pads under the eye that are pooching? A lower blepharoplasty with fat transposition. . .
No lower eyelid fat pads that are pooching or maybe need more volume to correct it than the lower eyelid fat pads can provide? You may need a little fat transfer from another part of your body. . .
And finally, if the problem is bone deep and the facial skeleton needs to be augmented too? A silicone implant, with some fat transfer on top. . .

2 years after breast augmentation with Allergan soft touch 240cc moderate profile implants. . .
She got them done when she was 20, and now she’s 22. They’re just so freaking pretty for her figure, I can’t get over it! . .
We chose half under the muscle implants because she didn’t have much fat to use to give the implant more coverage, so her muscle served this purpose for us, giving a nice soft result. . .
I’ll see her every year to make sure things are looking and feeling right, and we will start ultrasound monitoring of her implants in the office at year 5! ✨

Scar management starts in surgery- with surgical technique, proper incision placement, and brijjits. . .
Scars take a year to mature- meaning you have a years time for scar management to make your scars as invisible as possible! . .
After surgery, Silicone tape or creams, sunscreen, lasers, microneedling, retinols, brightening creams… they’re all on the menu for what your scars may need in order to fade as much as possible.
