Though classes are designed to optimize physical health by waking and energizing the entire body, Sumits Yoga stresses that the greatest benefit comes not as much from the healing of the body, but from the healing of the mind. The simple pleasure and self-reward that comes from quieting our minds, listening to each breath and honoring where are bodies are in stillness or movement cannot be measured. You do not measure your yoga practice by how many perfectly aligned poses you can perform, but by how deep you can immerse yourself inwards. It’s amazing how a simple downward dog can be felt so differently by any student on any given day and still provide a feeling of connection, balance and satisfaction regardless of the depth it’s practiced. This is the true beauty of yoga and it awaits every student who is ready let go of the ego and begin listening to their own deeper wisdom and inner voice.

Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 10th, and we’d love to celebrate all the amazing moms in our community!

To make the day extra special, we’re offering free classes for all mothers—plus, each mom can bring a guest completely free. It’s the perfect opportunity to move, relax, and spend some quality time together.

Hi everyone —

We wanted to share a quick update on the studio.
Due to the water main break, Sumits Hot Yoga is currently closed. The good news is that a team is on-site working hard to resolve the issue, and we’re hoping repairs will be completed by the end of the day.

In the meantime, we’re actively exploring an alternative solution for maintaining humidity so we can potentially reopen sooner with a backup system in place.

We appreciate your patience during this unexpected disruption. Please continue to check the schedule regularly for the latest updates, and we’ll keep you informed as soon as we know more.

The studio will be closed tomorrow and potentially Monday due to a water line break affecting the entire building, not just our studio. At this time, the issue has not yet been repaired and the building remains without running water. This situation is unfortunately out of our control and our landlords are actively working to have it resolved as quickly as possible. Current estimates suggest repairs may be complete completed by Monday afternoon however, this timeline is subject to change.

We will continue to keep you updated as more information becomes available, please be sure to check Mindbody for any additional class cancellations. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and truly appreciate your patience and understanding. If you have any questions or need assistance with rescheduling please don’t hesitate to reach out.
