What's a knot?
Muscle knots (myofascial trigger points) are areas where muscle fibers spasm and remain contracted instead of relaxing π
This continuous contraction squeezes local blood vessels, cutting off circulation and causing waste to build up, which is what triggers pain and tenderness.
