Heroes come in all shapes and sizes — and they don’t always wear capes.
A hero might be someone who never gave up on you.
Someone who showed up when you needed them most.
A parent, friend, teacher, mentor, peer, or loved one.
Someone whose recovery story gave you hope.
Someone you’ve lost who continues to inspire you.
Or maybe… your hero is YOU.
This Recovery Month, we’re celebrating the everyday heroes who remind us of the strength, courage, hope, and connection that can carry us through life’s hardest moments.
So, who’s YOUR hero?
A police officer, A fireman, a neighbor, or a teacher?
At this year’s Ride for Recovery on September 19, we’re bringing that question to life! Come dressed as whomever a hero means to YOU, a superhero, a role model, someone you admire, or your own creative interpretation. You can even decorate your bicycle to match! 🚲
We’ll have prizes for our favorite costumes, so have some fun with it!
Ride. Walk. Run. Dress up. Show up.
