🎙️ IT’S HERE — The Unfiltered Psych NP Podcast is officially LIVE!

I’ve spent a long time thinking about what I wanted this podcast to be, and honestly, I knew from the beginning that it couldn’t be polished, clinical, or perfectly packaged.

It needed to be real.

Welcome to The Unfiltered Psych NP Podcast — a place for raw, honest conversations about mental health, trauma, motherhood, grief, loss, illness, diagnosis, healing, and everything in between.

This podcast was born from the same place that Stillwaters was born from: my own story and my belief that mental healthcare should be more personal, more accessible, and less stigmatized.

Through this podcast, my hope is to:

🤍 Destigmatize mental health and make difficult conversations feel a little less difficult.

🧠 Provide a FREE resource for anyone who wants to better understand mental health diagnoses, treatment options, medications, therapy, and the realities of navigating mental healthcare.

🌊 Share the stories behind Stillwaters — including the experiences, trauma, and moments that have shaped our mission.

💬 Create space for women to share their stories of surviving trauma, loss, illness, motherhood, grief, diagnosis, and seasons they never imagined they would have to walk through.

And sometimes, we're just going to talk about the things nobody prepares you for.

Motherhood.
Grief.
Identity.
Relationships.
Healing.
Starting over.
The messy middle.

No perfect answers.
No pretending we have it all together.
Just unfiltered conversations about being human.

🎧 EPISODE ONE: The Stories I Never Thought I’d Share

For the first episode, I decided to start with something incredibly personal.

My story.

The details I rarely talk about. The things that shaped me. The moments that changed the trajectory of my life and ultimately played a role in why I became so passionate about changing the way we deliver mental healthcare.

Some stories are difficult to tell.

But sometimes telling them reminds someone else that they aren't the only one.

If you listen, I’d love for you to share it with someone who might need to hear it, or leave your thoughts on the episode in the comments.

Because mental health shouldn't have to be something we whisper about.

Let's talk about it. Unfiltered.

Where are my Therapists? LCSWS? Counselors? CAM Providers? NP's ? DO's? MD's, Direct-Care Providers??

You've found your safe space.

Introducing The Clinician Collective.
And this September, we’re officially launching it. 🥂
📍 ROOFTOP LAUNCH PARTY
📅 September 2026 — Date to be announced

Come celebrate with us over charcuterie, drinks, conversation, and connection as we kick off something we believe healthcare providers desperately need:

A place to belong, collaborate, learn, and pour back into the people who have been called to serve others.

So, what exactly IS the Clinician Collective?

The Clinician Collective is a networking, collaboration, and support community for mental health and healthcare providers—built intentionally around both healthcare access and equity and the wellbeing of the clinicians providing that care.

Because we believe caring for patients well requires ALL of us at the table.

Our Collective will include:
✨ Bi-monthly gatherings designed for connection and professional support
📚 Educational workshops and, eventually, CEU opportunities
🌿 Integrative health + complementary and alternative medicine conversations
🧠 Mastermind-style clinical roundtables where providers can thoughtfully discuss complex cases
🤝 Intentional therapist–medication provider collaboration because it takes both of us
🔗 Thoughtful referral networks built around your specialty, fit, and patient needs
💬 Collaboration ROI opening the door for focus on shared decision making for our patients - improving continuity of care
🎓 Opportunities to teach and mentor students as the Collective grows
🏥 A growing network of professionals committed to improving access, equity, and quality of care

And then there’s the part that makes this different.

Your membership gives back.

The Clinician Collective will have a minimal monthly membership fee, with proceeds going directly to the Stillwaters Foundation—an initiative created to help expand access to mental healthcare for individuals who otherwise may not be able to afford it.

That means your membership isn't simply paying for a networking group.

It is helping fund care for those who need it most.

As a Collective member, you’ll be recognized as a community partner throughout Stillwaters Foundation outreach, including opportunities for logos and organizational recognition at Foundation events and initiatives.

And because we believe in taking care of the people within our network, patients referred by Collective members will receive increased priority consideration through the Foundation scholarship process.

Because this is what it looks like when we stop working in silos.

We refer well.
We communicate well.
We collaborate well.
We teach one another.
We support one another.

And ultimately, our patients benefit.

This isn't just another networking group.
It's a collective.

A collective of people who believe healthcare can be more connected.

More collaborative.
More equitable.
More human.

Ready to be part of the movement?
I will be hand-delivering invitations to therapy offices around NWI.

I’m not even sure how to put this into words without crying. Ok I can't....😭😭😭

Yesterday was one of the most meaningful moments of my career.

A dear friend.
A kindred soul.
A patient who didn’t just become part of my story—she started the mission.

I met Isolde years ago as a master’s nursing student after her surgery. We didn’t need many words. We just saw each other in a system that so often forgets the person behind the diagnosis. Trauma recognizes trauma, we didn't need words ... We just knew.

She was never just a patient.

She was music, poetry, art, Vienna School of Music, an air-raid shelter singer, humor, resilience, fear, and hope—all of her, but never mentioned in her chart.

She brought me poems.
She wrote me a letter I still carry with me.
The most beautiful letter a provider could ever receive from a patient.

Yesterday, I saw her again.

And I cried.

Because I was writing Regain Their Trust- and I learned she had written a book too.

Of course she had... because Isolde is Isolde - incredible.

We sat together again after all these years, laughing, crying, remembering… and I was reminded that she sits at the very center of why I do this work.

Isolde taught me what the system often forgets: we don’t treat conditions—we meet people.

And that relationship is not extra care.
It is the care.

Her daughter Elisabeth (an equally authentic and bright light) has quietly captured pieces of this journey over the years, and I’m so grateful she did.

She summed up our reunion so beautifully,

“Sometimes God doesn’t let you see the bigger picture. But yesterday, He did.”

I saw it too.

Isolde—thank you for shaping me before I even knew who I was becoming. For believing in me even when I didn't, and for trusting me with your most vulnerable self.

You are the reason this mission exists. 🤍

Here's to seeing how our story shapes the future of healthcare.

Today was a day I'll never forget.

Today, we recorded the very first episode of The Stillwaters Podcast... and my heart is so full. ❤️

I'll be honest—this first episode tells stories I never thought I would share publicly. Stories of pain, healing, faith, and the moments that completely changed the trajectory of my life. They're vulnerable, they're real, and I pray they'll remind someone that they're never alone.

This podcast was born from a simple dream: that everyone deserves access to compassionate, evidence-based mental health education and a community where they feel seen, heard, and understood.

Our mission is to raise mental health awareness, expand access, equity, and quality mental health care for women and children across the country, and equip caregivers with a psychology-informed lens for relational healing. We'll talk openly about medications and side effects, relationships, trauma, parenting, grief, anxiety, depression, and the everyday struggles that so many people silently carry.

Most of all, I hope this becomes a place where genuine human connection happens. A place where we choose compassion over judgment, curiosity over assumptions, and where healing begins through community.

We can't wait to share our very first episode with you at the end of August. Thank you for believing in this dream and for walking alongside us. I truly believe these conversations are going to make a difference.

🎙️ Here's to the beginning of something beautiful.

♥️🥰♥️ who is joining me?

✨ Meet Megan Jones, founder of Stillwaters Women's Mental Wellness

Healing starts with understanding the stories we tell ourselves.

In her workshop, Rewiring Your Inner Critic, Megan will help you recognize where self-critical thoughts come from, and give you practical tools to replace them with compassion and confidence.

Because you deserve to speak to yourself with the same kindness you give everyone else. 💜

🎙️ The Stories I Spent Years Hiding... Are Finally Being Told😬😬😬🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

This September, I'm pressing record. 🫣

Not because I have all the answers.😬🤣

But because women deserve conversations that are real—not polished, not performative, and definitely not filtered.

Welcome to The Unfiltered Psych NP Podcast.🏆👏

This isn't another podcast filled with generic self-care advice and empty inspiration.

This is where we talk about the things people whisper about.🤫

The panic attacks. The ADHD no one caught. The postpartum rage. The trauma that still shows up years later. The marriages hanging by a thread. The grief that doesn't follow a timeline. The shame. The faith. The science. The healing. 👏🌿

And yes...

The stories I never thought I'd share—including the moments that nearly broke me, the carjacking that changed my life, and the experiences that shaped the clinician I am today.

Because if my story helps one woman feel less alone...

It's worth telling.🥰

Whether you're a client, a clinician, a teacher, a caregiver, or simply a woman trying to survive a season you never asked for...

There's a seat for you here.

No masks. No pretending. No taboo topics.

Just brutally honest conversations, evidence-based psychology, and relentless advocacy for women.

If you're ready for the conversations everyone else avoids... Or if you are interested in being on the show...

Hit follow, send me a DM ♥️

We're just getting started. 🤍
