Your vagus nerve is constantly listening: It serves as a vital communication pathway between the brain and body—helping regulate heart rate, digestion, inflammation, stress responses, emotional regulation, and our capacity for connection.

The vagus nerve isn’t just about physiology. It’s deeply connected to how we experience safety, belonging, and relationship. Through the lens of Polyvagal Theory, we begin to understand that our nervous systems are always asking one essential question: “Am I safe enough to connect?”

This diagram offers a glimpse into the remarkable reach of the vagus nerve throughout the body—and why understanding it can transform the way we think about health, healing, and human behavior.

Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, stress, or uncertainty never seem to let up. But resilience isn’t about ignoring your feelings — it’s about learning how to steady yourself through hard moments. 💛

Small habits can make a big difference:
• Take one slow breath before reacting
• Name what you’re feeling
• Reach out to someone you trust
• Focus on one small next step instead of the whole future

Resilience grows through practice, not perfection. Even on difficult days, choosing one healthy coping skill, one supportive connection, or one mindful moment can help you feel more grounded.

You don’t have to navigate stress, anxiety, or addiction alone. Healing starts with one next right step. 🌱

Many women grow up learning to see their bodies through the eyes of others. This self-objectification can lead to shame, anxiety, and disconnection from our real needs and experiences. Healing begins when we stop asking “How do I look?” and start asking “How do I feel?” Our bodies are instruments for living—not ornaments for judgment.

Rejection sensitivity = a heightened fear of rejection or criticism, often seeing neutral situations as negative.

For some with ADHD, this can become RSD—intense, overwhelming emotional pain triggered by real or perceived rejection.

It can show up as strong emotions, people-pleasing, avoidance, or overthinking.

The pain feels real—even if the rejection isn’t.

Support like therapy, medication, and emotional regulation skills can help.

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects attention, impulse control, and daily functioning.

It can look like distractibility, forgetfulness, restlessness, time struggles, and emotional ups & downs—and it shows up differently for everyone. It’s also often underdiagnosed in women.

Diagnosis and treatment are personalized, but support is out there—and it does get easier 🤍

Feeling drained by constant scrolling?
You’re not alone.

Instead of a full detox, try mindful tech use—being intentional with how and why you use your phone.

Start small:
• Set an intention before unlocking
• Take one breath before scrolling
• Do one supportive action (text, journal, breathe)
• Check in: “Do I feel better or worse?”

Small shifts can turn your phone from distraction → self-care.

Pause. Breathe. Come back to yourself. 💛

Work is stressful enough—add a difficult boss, and it can feel overwhelming 😵‍💼

If your boss is making work miserable, here are a few reminders to protect your peace:

✨ Leave work at work — your off-time is YOUR time
✨ It’s not always personal — their behavior reflects them, not you
✨ Stay true to your values — don’t let negativity pull you in
✨ Set clear boundaries — know what you will and won’t accept
✨ Check your triggers — sometimes it’s deeper than the moment
✨ Find support — you don’t have to deal with it alone

You deserve a work life that doesn’t drain you 💛
