EXTENDED HOURS
Lucid has extended hours for pickup! We will be open for pickup today from 3:00pm-6:00pm, as well as tomorrow from 10:00am - 6:00pm, while supplies last. Please feel free to come by and take what you need🩵

Spokane Public Schools has opened a free Kids Day Camp for families in need of a safe place for their children to land during the day while they take care of errands or other necessities. Feel free to take a look at their page for additional information or updates🩵💡

FREE DAY CAMP EXTENDED: The free emergency drop-in camp for children ages 4 and older at Shadle Park High School (4327 N. Ash St.) will be available every day this week, Aug. 3-7, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This is intended to give parents and caregivers impacted by wildfires a safe place for their children while they take a break, run errands, or address other immediate needs. Children do not need to be enrolled in Spokane Public Schools or live within SPS boundaries to attend.

Lunch will be provided at noon through the federal free summer meals program. Activities will be supervised by Spokane Public Schools staff. Families can also access a clothing closet and connect with resources like HEART and CHAS Health.

In response to the recent wildfires in the Spokane area, the Lucid Care Station will be available at our clinic tomorrow from 10:00am - 12:00pm and is open to anyone in our community who could use a little extra support. Whether you need hygiene items, household essentials, comfort items, or simply a helping hand, we invite you to stop by and take what you need.

Thank you to everyone who donated their time, resources, and hearts to help our community. We're proud to be part of a community that shows up for one another. 🩵

What is positive reinforcement? Glad you asked!⭐️

Positive reinforcement is a way to encourage helpful behaviors by adding something meaningful after the behavior happens! This can look like a behavior happening (raising a hand instead of interrupting, putting a dish in the the sink instead of leaving it on the floor, etc.) and then providing a preferred reinforcer! The result is that the behavior is more likely to happen again💡
