Does bouncing really “drain” your lymph, or is the internet getting a little carried away?
There’s a sensible idea underneath the hype: movement and breathing help lymph move. Your lymphatic vessels also have their own contractions. Your body isn’t waiting for a trampoline to switch the whole system on.
Rebounding can be an enjoyable way to move more. But claims about a dramatic “detox” or 15–30 times more lymph flow go further than the evidence supports.
The useful question is simpler: what kind of movement will you actually come back to?
A walk. A few calf raises. A gentle bounce if it feels good. Start small and let consistency do its thing.
Swipe for the evidence and a five-minute movement break you can save for later.
