If you're breast feeding you could get a mastitis infection. You may have a red, swollen, painful breast and flu-like symptoms. Most of the time it can be treated at home. However, if home remedies don’t work, call your OBGyn.

Mastitis is inflammation in your breast due to oversupply of milk. Women who are breastfeeding are most likely to get mastitis.
