Every October starts the same way...
"I'll just grab one pumpkin."
Thirty minutes later you're carrying half the pumpkin patch to your front porch.
Decorating counts as exercise...
Right? 😄

How many pumpkins are decorating your house this year?

⏳ CHEYENNE — ONE WEEK TO GO!
Here’s a question:
Are your knees changing the way you live your life?
Not necessarily stopping you completely—but making you hesitate.
Should I take the stairs?
Can I make that walk?
Is my knee going to bother me tomorrow if I do this today?
When you start planning your activities around your knees, it may be time to learn more about what’s going on.
Next Tuesday, we’re hosting our Knee Health Seminar at Althoff Wellness Clinic in Cheyenne.
We’ll be talking about knee and joint health, what we evaluate when someone is struggling with chronic knee problems, and the approaches we use to help our patients care for their joints and keep moving.
Current patients: This seminar is for you too—and it’s a perfect opportunity to bring someone you care about.
Know someone who always complains about their knees?
Tag them. Send them this post. Or tell them, “Come with me next Tuesday.”
⚠️ We’re only ONE WEEK AWAY and seating is limited. Reserve your spot now.

Have you ever noticed your joints seem to "talk" a little more when the weather changes?
You're not alone.
Many people report feeling stiffer during cooler months.
While weather isn't the sole cause of joint discomfort, changes in temperature, barometric pressure, and activity levels may influence how some people feel.
The good news?
Staying active often helps.
🚶 Daily walks
🧘 Gentle stretching
💧 Staying hydrated
💪 Consistent movement
Don't let cooler weather convince you to stop moving.
Your joints were made to move.

Do your joints notice the weather before you do? 🌦️

🍎 An Apple a Day? Fall Might Be Onto Something.
Apple season is here—and your body isn't complaining.
Apples are packed with fiber, antioxidants, and nutrients that can support gut health and overall wellness. And here's a simple tip: when you can, leave the peel on. That's where a good portion of the fiber and beneficial plant compounds are hiding.
Pair your apple with a little protein or healthy fat—like a handful of nuts or natural nut butter—and you've got an easy fall snack that will keep you satisfied longer.
Sometimes taking care of your health really can be this simple. 🍎
What's your pick?
🍎 Honeycrisp
🍏 Granny Smith
🍎 Gala
🍏 Something else?

Halloween decorating is fun...
Until you realize you've climbed the ladder six times, carried heavy boxes from the basement, and wrestled with 14 strands of lights.
If you're tackling decorating this weekend...
Remember to:
✔ Lift with your legs.
✔ Take stretch breaks.
✔ Ask for help with heavier items.
Your future back will appreciate it.

Have you decorated yet, or are you waiting until later this month?

💡 Recovery Is a Process
Think about planting a garden.
You prepare the soil.
Water consistently.
Provide sunlight.
Give it time.
Your body works much the same way.
Healing is rarely about one thing.
It often involves movement, good nutrition, healthy circulation, quality sleep, and the right support along the way.
Therapulse is one tool that may be used as part of that bigger picture.
Every step toward better health matters.

🙆 Midweek Mobility Check
How easily are you moving today?
Mobility helps us reach, turn, bend, and move through everyday activities with greater ease. Try this quick seated mobility check:
✔ Sit tall in a sturdy chair with your feet flat on the floor.
✔ Cross your arms gently over your chest.
✔ Slowly rotate your upper body to one side, staying within a comfortable range.
✔ Return to center, then rotate to the other side.
✔ Notice whether one direction feels easier than the other.
No need to push or force the movement—this is simply a chance to check in with how your body is feeling today.
A little movement throughout the day can help keep you moving comfortably.

Give it a try! Did one side feel a little easier to turn toward?

🦵 CHEYENNE — WE’RE 2 WEEKS AWAY!
How many things have you quietly stopped doing because of your knees?
Maybe you don’t take the stairs anymore. You think twice about a long walk. You’ve cut back on hiking, golfing, exercising, gardening—or you find yourself saying, “I’d love to, but my knee…”
If that sounds familiar, we’d love to have you join us.
On Tuesday, October 20 at 5:00 PM, Althoff Wellness Clinic in Cheyenne is hosting our Knee Health Seminar.
