Let’s talk something hard for a minute. One thing about life is that no one gets out alive. The end comes for all of us at some point. As a hospice provider the most common question is “how do you do that?” I have a standard answer most of the time. But today reminded me of why. I was blessed to be present with one of my hospice patients as she finally got comfortable and took her last breaths. The biggest blessing however was witnessing a family so full of love and devotion to their mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. It always fills my cup to see a family work together to give their loved one care in their final days. This is the true measure of a life well lived. Hug your loved ones close today.
