Yesterday, the airshow community lost one of its finest.

George Cline was more than an Air Boss—he was a gentle giant whose calm presence, steady leadership, and unwavering dedication made every event and everyone around him better. He was the rock of our community, someone we all looked to for guidance, wisdom, and quiet strength.

George dedicated countless hours to ensuring the safety of performers, crews, volunteers, and spectators, always putting others before himself. His professionalism was unmatched, but it was his kindness yet gritty humility, and genuine care for people that left the greatest impact.

The skies will never be quite the same without him, and the void he leaves in our airshow family will be impossible to fill.

To George’s family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have worked alongside him, please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Blue skies, George. Thank you for your friendship, your leadership, and the legacy you’ve left for all of us to carry forward. You will never be forgotten.

It was such an honor to tour CampV and visit with Travis! Thank you for all you do, we hope to be back soon!

Joe and Gentry Sarber with Armour Airshow Safety are in Texas for the upcoming Athens Airshow and took a moment to visit CampV. Joe and his wife, Gentry have heard about CampV for several years and took the opportunity while nearby to sit down with Travis Gladhill, Executive Director at CampV. After taking a tour of the campus, they called it a "life changing" visit and have become new supporters of the organization.

Thank you Tina Renee Ball for introducing us to this amazing organization in Tyler, Texax. CampV, which stands for Community Assisting Military Personnel & Veterans, is a “Veteran’s answer to Connection, Service and Hope.” The Executive Director, Travis Gladhill, took the time to share the dedication, vision and mission of CampV and took us on a tour of the grounds. It’s an incredible property that offers Veterans, military personnel, and their families support, connection, tools, and provisions when it’s needed most. A huge THANK YOU to Elder Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Athens in Athens, Texas, for once again taking incredible care of Team ARMOR during the Thunder over East Texas airshow.

Their generous support in providing our transportation for the weekend helped ensure our team could stay focused on what matters most—keeping performers, crews, and spectators safe throughout the event.

This Memorial Day, all of us at ARMOR Airshows honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to the United States of America. Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to freedom will never be forgotten.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to those currently serving and to the future generations who will answer the call to protect this nation. Because of your sacrifice, we are able to live, work, and gather in freedom.

Our 2025 Can-Am Defender and Can-Am Commander units are specifically outfitted to respond rapidly to an incident scene, suppress incipient-stage fires, and assist with pilot extrication. When ARMOR suppression units are deployed, all apparatus can be fully replenished and returned to service within 15 minutes.
