Today, we recognize and celebrate the incredible work of orthoptists around the world and the important role they play in protecting vision and improving eye health for patients of all ages. 💙

Orthoptists specialize in evaluating and treating disorders that affect eye movement, coordination, and visual development — including conditions like strabismus (eye misalignment) and amblyopia (“lazy eye”). Their work is essential in helping children and adults achieve their best possible vision.

We are especially proud to recognize our own orthoptist, Micaela, who works alongside Dr. Ticho in providing compassionate, specialized care to our patients every day. ✨
